I have fished with High Desert angler before and this time I drew Parker as my guide. We let's just say that I had such a great time fishing with Parker that I cannot really express it enough in this review. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. He got me into fish and it was technical - THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Great advise at HDA! The guys told me where to go to get into a stonefly hatch, which flies to buy, and how to rig up. Yes, I am a guide but it’s always advised to get some local intel at the local fly shop. This one has amazing equipment and advise. Highly recommend!

On a mission to get a hat because we had a short stay in Santa Fe, conditions were not great for fishing, and I wanted to see what the shop was like for the next trip. Nice selection and good vibe!
