Fair price but disappointing from my last stay a year ago. Desk attendant not the friendliest and my non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The security of my vehicle also a concern as the parking lot seemed to be a bit busier than usual.

Rude and disrespectful staff I don’t recommend the stay, no fridge no microwave and the bed was broken. Heater leaked water.

Main reason for staying at Motel 6's is they are pet friendly, pets stay for free. The beds at this location were better than expected and better than some other Motel 6.Noteworthy details: Pet friendly.

Worst Motel 6 I ever stayed at; I've stayed at 20+ and like the chain. Outlets didn't work, dark, cold room, light bulb didn't work, couldn't get heat out of the heater, shower curtain held up with (looked like) paperclips that fell off when you tried to open/close the curtain. No internet after 10 PM. It always came back in the morning...

Drawn in by the low price of a one night stay, we stayed here two nights, each a week apart on our way to and from another destination. If you are looking for a basic room with a bed, this is it. Our rooms were recently renovated, clean and tidy. The A/C system was noisy, but functioning, so that was a plus in the hot July heat! The hotel's location is on a main road, but unfortunately, so is the ever present evidence of homelessness that is Santa Fe. The door didn't close securely, even when locked and deadbolted. But we were exhausted after a 12 hour drive, and didn't ask to change rooms. The pool was not open, which was a negative. The office staff was friendly and helpful, especially the 'nightman'. I'd give them an A for effort, given the location and condition of the property.Rooms: Both the rooms we stayed in had been recently renovated. A basic fridge and microwave would be a good investment. Improvements are needed with the A/C units. Also, there was a large gap in the door, even when the deadbolt and door handle were locked.Safety: The homeless population is highly visible in Santa Fe, and this property is no exception. We encountered a few as they were passing through the parking area of the hotel. Security could be added.

staff was super friendly, location is awesome since it's within walking distance of meow wolf and good food places, and just an overall solid place to stay for a night or two. it is bkx elder bug season tho, and since pretty much all hotels/motels keep the room doors wide open when cleaning, it's almost impossible for bugs to not get inside the room. knowing this, as well as knowing box elder bugs are virtually harmless, I just spent a few minutes squishing all the bugs in the room with a wash cloth and didn't have any issues other than that. no hair on the towels, clean room, TV worked well, has all the basic necessities. there isn't any complimentary shampoo or conditioner here, and there isn't a fridge, microwave, or coffee maker. but in my opinion, you don't stay at a motel 6 for the amenities, you stay to save a buck if you're in town for a couple nights. I will say, there were a few small burn holes in the comforter, which was weird. also, I got lucky enough to stay in a room that had front row seats to a car swerving off the road and into the motel pool, so I would assume that's going to be closed for a while longer.

The only amenities we had were a television and air conditioning. When we arrived, the floor was littered with dead bugs, dirt, and hair strands. There were living bugs on the window, windowsill, and walls. Office staff were friendly and efficient, which is why this is two

If there were negative stars available, this place would get at least one negative star. This place is atrocious. And if it weren’t for the fact that I had no choice (I had a late arrival into Santa Fe) I would not have stayed here and contemplated sleeping in my car in their lot rather than in the actual dungeon of a room. The rooms are dirty. They have bugs everywhere. Bugs on the curtains. Bugs on the bed. Bugs in the bathroom. This is a depressing, dirty, dingy place. The rooms have bare gray walls. No fridge. No attempt to make the place look inviting even in the simplest of ways. The ac is weird and did I mention bugs! Doesn’t the owner take any shred of pride in their establishment?? And I caution you to be on notice that your second story railing can NOT possibly be up to code and one day a small child will fall off the second story as a result of the failing rail. Why even own a place if you express to everyone that you yourself could care less about it? Sad fact: This Motel 6 has now moved me to NEVER - E V E R - stay in ANY OTHER Motel 6 ever again. Fair? Maybe not, but this place is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor: Stay elsewhere.

It was nice to have a place to sleep but the rooms were tiny and the bedding was paper thin, there was no fridge, no microwave, no coffee pot. Security service compensated somewhat for bad neighborhood.

Rooms are totally updated and the housekeepers here do an exceptional job. I have stayed here for several nights, different rooms, and they are all great. Front desk staff frowns when you come in the office. I think all of them hate where they work. If you try to check in at 3pm you will be checked into rooms not ready. They should post check in at 6 pm.So the owner is the problem. I stayed one night, paid at 9 am for a second night, and got a call from the owner at noon, YELLING at me "check out is at 11!" No hello, are you staying another night. No glad you are staying with us. I told HER I paid already for another night a few hours ago. She did not apologize , just said, "well I will have to see if that is true" and HUNG UP ON HER CUSTOMER. Never staying here again. I feel sorry for the employees here because if they are treated like the customers it is a miserable place to work, .pat the 20 dollars a night more somewhere else. As a former Motel 6 general manager, this is a failing hotel. The pool is broke. The ice machine is broke. 5 of the 42 channels , including a local channel A BC, has no signal. Call to the desk about a local channel having no signal and I was just told to watch another channel there uis nothing that can be done. Stay somewhere else.

It was nice to have a place to sleep but the rooms were tiny and the bedding was paper thin, there was no fridge, no microwave, no coffee pot, and the TV didn't even work. And lets not forget to mention the bug infestation. We got eaten all night. The bathroom doesn't come with any soaps or shampoos, and the shower and towels were full of nasty hair.

The A/C in my room wasn’t working properly & blew hot air. There were bugs on the curtains and walls. We left after about 10 minutes. The lady in the office was very nice and understanding, and gave me a refund. I would recommend spending a little bit more money and finding another place to stay.Rooms: Very small and bug infested.
