“We live put of town and needed a storage unit for some of my parents belongs during a move. The facility was helpful to rent over the internet and phone. They were equally helpful when we came to clear out the unit. My only note would be to have clear markings on how to get to elevators and to mark directions by group numbers to find the units - it’s a bit of a maze. But overall would recommend and use again if needed.”

“Had my unit for about a year and a half, was pretty solid don’t have any complaints really. All my items were in great shape, no water damage, not a huge insect problem other than a black widow or two but that’s nothing new. They took care of my needs, management went above and beyond for me when I first got my unit, even upgrading me to a larger unit because the small one I was interested in ended up not being cleaned out by the previous tenants. This ended up being better for me as I had way more things than the smaller unit would have held. Unfortunately the price ended up rising a few times in the 1.5 years I was there so that was really the only downside.”

Carlos, the mover, was extremely careful with all items including several fine art pieces & furniture that he packed with great care. The cross-country door-to-door move was executed flawlessly, everything arrived in perfect condition. The pricing was transparent & fair. “I’ve been using Airport Rd Self Storage in Santa Fe since May, and the on-site manager has been amazing every step of the way. He’s gone out of his way multiple times to help me, always with kindness and professionalism.
One night, I accidentally left my keys at a gas station nearby. I had my one-year-old with me and was stressing about having to drag her back out so late. Without hesitation, he said, “No, no, you don’t need to take the baby out like that,” and personally went to get the keys for me. ? That kind of thoughtfulness really stuck with me.
He also helped me remove locks from my unit and handled everything quickly, respectfully, and without judgment. His customer service is top-tier — always polite, well-mannered, and genuinely helpful.
It’s rare to find someone who actually cares, and it makes a huge difference. This place is lucky to have him!

“I kept my stuff at Saint Michael’s self storage for 4 1/2 years, in between moves in and out of New Mexico (my homestate). David and his family are absolutely amazing. If you’re hesitant about where to store your belongings in Santa Fe, look no further because Saint Michael’s self storage is the absolute best. I’m glad to have my stuff out of storage, but it’s bittersweet saying goodbye to that storage unit because they are so Awesome there!!!!

“Wow! I am totally new to the storage life. I went into the cerillos Santa Fe store for guidance. I received top shelf customer service from Ana who knew exactly how to serve my needs. She gave me advice and took me through the whole process of the app and how to do a rental from my phone!!! Super patient and kind. Also she had a sidekick named Jaclyn and Jay.

“What was once a single storage facility became so much more. The littlest business that could, and did exceed expectations as over time it began acquiring surrounding storage facilities until it owned them all. Leaving you with several blocks of units to choose from. Greg Solano is the property manager, and a right helpful guy, who assisted us in getting moved from one unit into a bigger one as our needs grew. He was also very helpful in deciphering the unit numbers and locations code. Each unit number assigned is four digits, but only the last two are on the actual locker, and the first two designate the block the unit is on in order of the facility being purchased. Yeah, I know. Super confusing. When renting a unit just ask him to point you to the specific block you need to be on. The facility isn't new, and the surrounding fences could use some work, but the prices are right and the location is convenient if you are in North Santa Fe.”

“I was sent to the wrong uhaul location but the person that just happened to be there directed me correctly. Otherwise I would have been so lost and behind my schedule. Everyone was so courteous and I hope you are paying them to be pleasant because everyone that helped me was so nice. Thank you.
I would say that I could have had ten more miles added to my contract for what I paid. Seriously, I was given 80 miles and the Google maps put me at 78 miles from one place to the other. That wasn’t very nice of practical. Is uhaul getting stingy?”

“I have used Mountain Movers several times. SThe longest move was from Santa Fe to New York, and then additional things to Charlottesville, VA, to a friend's house. I did many short moves when I lived out west and every time I moved it was easy and well done. Nothing was ever broken or damaged or lost. The team was always on time and didn't require special favors. The easiest people to work with and I moved a lot of times to many states.”

“My immediate impression of how storing my things at A1 Self Storage 2 on Rodeo Road would go was not only positive but unusually so. Manager Leona Griego was enthusiastic and helpful when she took my info and asked about my needs. She remained attentive and personable throughout. On many occasions since, I have been in the office when others have come in either to pay on a unit they already had or to obtain one. In each case, Leona was respectful, polite and efficient. She is always working around the units, cleaning interior spaces or improving the landscape and outward appearance of the place. In fact, I have never seen a more dedicated manager of a storage facility. A-1 is lucky to have her.”
