I am going to start this review by saying that I understand the pharmacy is understaffed - that being said it is completely unacceptable for no one to ever answer the phone. You can see from multiple reviews that this is a common problem, and I have had many instances where I have waited on the phone for upwards of 30 minutes to an hour only to have the system automatically hang up on me. I frequently have to go into the pharmacy to figure out what is going on with my prescription, this most recent time to figure out why and quit frankly how they had been out of a very common prescription for over a week. It is completely counter-intuitive to make me do so, only to be told I need to wait until they get more in with little to no further information. It's a crap shoot if you are actually going to get your prescription from this location, and quite honestly I can not recommend you take your business somewhere else enough until they get their act together.

Edit 2025: got an Rx for the COVID vax. Not only did they argue that I didn't had a valid reason, they were ignoring NMDOH guidelines that anyone in the state was eligible for the vaccine. They tried to convince me i didnt have a disability because mine is invisible. Too busy gobbling RFKs spunk to read the news. It wasnt even a pharmacist making decisions, it was a tech. They were promptly reported to RLD.
Slowest walgreens ever. If you have to call (like when their terrible app malfunctions) they leave you on hold for half an hour then drop the call. Pathetic.
They take weeks to refill Rx and if you ever have to have one shipped forget about it.

Why have a phone number if the phone is never answered? I had to go into the pharmacy last Sunday morning with a stress fracture in my knee and severe chronic back pain because no one answered the phone for over an hour on Saturday. It’s another Saturday and it’s been over 31 minutes on hold and still the same “there are more than 3 callers ahead of me.” Looks like I will once again have to go inside on a Sunday morning. Not right. The pharmacist was very friendly and helpful last week but clearly Walgreens is not doing anything to help their staff or its customers

Today I called and waited for over an hour and a half to get someone on the phone. When it finally got to my turn the pharmacy put me on hold. When they took me off hold they just hung up. This pharmacy is the worst. I then tried to call a manager and waited on hold for over 15 minutes. When they picked up they just hung up. This store is obviously short staffed and cannot handle what is given to them. I will be filing a complaint about this.

I'm extremely disappointed in the complete neglect when calling the pharmacy. I waited on the phone for 3 or more calls before me just to be hung up on. Then I called back and was put back on hold 3 times (the phone would ring, then the music would play again), then the automated system said it was experiencing some difficulties and hung up on me. I called back again (currently on the line), the automated system informed me that the pharmacy was on the line with someone else and to hold. I have gone through eight more sets of rings and returned to hold (a sign of neglect). The sixth time was a short ring and hung up on (that felt deliberate). It has been a total of 50 minutes, and not a single person can even answer and apologize for the wait, and inform me of maybe how busy it is.
What has it come to now in America when you can't even receive proper communication when trying to get information about your medication?! I don't understand when it comes to something which is quite important.
Still waiting, I will update this review intel I get hold of the pharmacy.
On the eighth ring set a pharmacist had finally picked up and was pleasant on the phone and informed me that they were extremely busy. They were kind enough to give me other ways to get my prescription, or choose to come in and wait 30 minutes to get it. I don't understand why I had to be hung up on multiple times due to being busy, and why that conversation could not happen after waiting for 3 or more calls ahead of me on the first phone call made.

The drive through was mostly quick moving, however, the speaker on the lane away from the window is super super low, can barely hear. This makes it difficult for those with less ability to hear.

I wonder if they care that they may be negatively impacting their patients lives when they close down the pharmacy early without any communication about it other than a hand written sign on the door.

After being on hold with the pharmacy for 20 minutes, I went in there to see what was going on. 11 People in line, more at the drive-through. No one answering phones at all. Why don't you dig deep and hire some staff?

I have called multiple times over the day just trying to ask one simple question about my prescription but every time they just leave me on hold and then proceed to hang up. I understand being busy but the pharmacist are just being lazy. It’s disrespectful and not good practice.

Walgreens on Zia Santa Fe NM- Issues with accurate and timely access to prescriptions has been an ongoing problem. The pharmacy team continue to incorrectly process a prescription repeatedly. They continue to process a prescription that does not align with the physician order and insurance prior with. They fail to respond to the doctor’s office on this issue. This issue has been going on repeatedly for almost 4 months.

They told me they were out of a needed medication that was prescribed to me. Another time I waited on hold for 48 minutes for them to hang up on me (pharmacy dept). Then I called again to the store and got transferred 4 times to the pharmacy without an answer yet again. I'm having a hard time getting my prescription filled and no answer.
