“(This post is being made by Tom's wife, just so you know.)Lovely shop WITH PARKING! Found so many lovely + useful things (took home a super cool, very long blacksmithed door pull that I will use as a handtowel bar in bath). There are items made by local artists and from around the southwest (but not necessarily a SW 'look'). She has a nice collection of cards, pretty-smelling things, and even sweet baby clothing/misc.I was happily surprised because it didn't feel like a tourist gift shop.”
“We visited Alhambra to furnish a small vacation home we recently purchased in Taos. We were looking for furniture that would be as unique as the home itself. We found it. The shop reflects its owner's keen eye for design and includes pieces that we had not seen elsewhere. It was a treat being there. Tess went above and beyond in helping us find what would work in our living room. I send her a photograph of a painting we had purchased, which we wanted to influence all of our choices. She found the perfect accessories for the sofa, chair and cabinet we bought. She is personable and focused on customer service. And the furniture is a good value.”
