625 Paseo Del Pueblo Norte, TaosI had bookmarked this restaurant before I even started my trip out West. It was a little off my route, but I really loved New Zealand when I visited the country so I wanted a nice reminder of it.
The employee was very kind and she offered great suggestions. I loved the freshness of the food. The chicken gyro and beef bourguignon were good. The outdoor seating made me feel like I was back in Auckland on the island of Waiheke.
It is important to note than may American palettes may not appreciate the flavors because our diet is heavily salt-based. True cuisine from New Zealand is seasoned, but not heavily salted.

Chicken tacos hard shell, wonderful, tamale fantastic, enchilada very delicious, I ordered to much. Outside seating was shaded and very clean. The green chile Frito pie was the hit for me though. Definitely worth the walk or drive.

Chile rellanos were the best me and my husband had ever tasted. Banuelo......well.....excuse me while I type with my mouth and hands full. Recommend! Restrooms are at the end of a long hall, just fyi.

We arrived after dark and it was hard to find because the entrance was dark and google didn't give fabulous directions. Park in the Guadalupe parking lot behind the plaza...it is across the street
