“This is a great place to stop and maybe even explore the area... the rooms are very nice and well kept. The food.. oh my it was wonderful... Just try the chillies sauce made with hatch chillies... staff are super friendly.. so are the people that stay.. really a refreshing place to stay”
“Older motel, but clean and safe. Room had two doors, one on each side, but building has up to date amenities.Rooms: Plenty of room for a single person, could easily walk around the bed.Nearby activities: Not much to do, had a few stores. But a few blocks away is Route 66.Safety: Felt safe, but stayed indoors.Food & drinks: There are a few fast food places nearby, but the close rather early.”
“We rolled in about 10:30 ,pm, very tired, and looking for a place to sleep. This is a place to do that. I thought the room was nice, and clean. The shower was awesome! (Room could use a fresh coat of paint. ) Hotel staff, Ash, was very helpful and friendly, and our room was reasonably priced.”
“One of my personal favorite places on earth. I spent 9 months at this motel for work reasons, I’ve experienced it all here. From grilling in the parking lot watching the sunset to having the cops beating on the door next to mine at 3am. All in all one of the most majestic towns I’ve ever been to and some of the greatest people/employees work here. In my stent here whenever I had a problem with roaches or power issues or whatever the front desk would drop everything to help me I couldn’t ask for better service. They made me feel at home when I was far from it and for that reason Im forever grateful to this special place. Thank you motel 6 it’s been a pleasure and I can’t wait to visit you again.”
“The Blue Swallow is a beautiful motel with a classic theme that feels like walking into a time machine. Offering all the amenities one could want in a modern motel (wi-fi, TV, laundry, microwave, and fridge are all available in either the rooms or the lounge) while also keeping it's classical roots (period appropriate furniture, lighting, and working rotary phones). In addition to waking up to a good cup of coffee being available, the owners also provided good travel advice and recommended another motel in West New Mexico as my next stop for the night which was very helpful. Come for the neon, stay for the hospitality. This place is a labor of love of the owners and it shows.”
