Very unfriendly and combative teller today (blonde, pink shirt, glasses), seemed like she may be new or in training. Really earned this 1 star. Poor customer service, lacking empathy. Thankfully another capcom (broadview) branch was able to help me out and be a bit more considerate, explaining an update and change in co-op credit union policy since the last time I made deposits about a year ago. In the past I did not need my full account number, and someone dropped the ball 2 days ago using my social / birthdate to look me up. Good on you for such an attitude on ya, should really get you far! Lost my business at this branch.

While it is still a 24 hour ATM, what’s the point if it doesn’t work? To that end, how do I go about getting reimbursed the money I had to pay another banking institution because your services are subpar?

I always enjoy coming here this is a great branch, lively group of people dedicated to helping. Haley was a big help in understanding my needs and solving the problem. Merry Xmas.

As part of “Broadview/SEFCU now… per SEFCU’s latest review… “Horrible and archaic check hold policy- especially when you’ve been a member for over 20 years, have a substantial LOC, and have your employer’s direct despite for over a year coming into the account. Needs to bring their hold policy up to date with their competitors. Does not offer competitive account benefits ie foreign ATM reimbursements.”

Vote NOOOOO for merger!!! SEFCU is going to ruin CAP Com. Slingerlands SEFCU has only had one person working the the whole branch from time to time. SEFCU also misrepresented their $75 loan fees they claimed were going to insurance companies so costumers could have a lower loan.

Buyer beware! Went to refinance my auto loan because of the advantageous APR. Was not presented with any contracts or actual literature. Months later after automatic payments realized that insurance for $25 a month was packed into my loan. Branch manager told me that there's nothing they can do for me. Do not sign anything without seeing physical documentation. They are not trustworthy.

Love this bank but the closing hours are very inconsistent and I wish they had longer hours towards the evening

Clean, efficient, and honest atmosphere. Simple and easy to make transactions or adjustments. No hidden fees, and no monthly maintenance fees.

Came in earlier today to get a new debit card; the last time I did this it took two minutes. Today the employee chose to finish his conversation rather than begin the process of setting up the new card. After getting situated, I was told to wait again, while he himself, again had another conversation.

Have been banking at CapCom for a few years and have nothing negative to say except that this new location has poor customer service skills. They watch you but don't offer to help and leave you waiting for long periods of time even when there are no other customers present. All of the other locations in the area are much better to visit.
