Being my review was deleted and still at this time I have no resolution or refund for being charged twice for my rental. I am reposting my review everyone be aware of double charges occurring when renting from Enterprise. Just to add to this I did have a response initially on my review of someone else wanting further information advising me to email them the details. His name is John I sent all information requested along with additional details and still at this time I have had no response back and they are telling me they do not see double charges on their end when speaking to the manger at this location however my bank has confirmed there are two separate transactions pending on my account that show processed at two different times. I am beginning to wonder when the rental is returned how long it is going to take for them to refund my deposit at this rate at that time they will owe me over $1,000.00 and this was for a car rented from this past Sunday 01/07/24 that is going to be returned tomorrow 01/13/24. Also I have filed a complaint with the BBB of which they have accepted and have contacted my attorney to address this further.Original ReviewEnterprise charged my card twice for a rental and when contacting them to inform them of the issue it is nearly impossible to reach someone at the Albany Airport location. After finally reaching someone in customer service, I was advised they only show one charge pending on their end however, my bank account shows two separate transactions. I contacted my bank and they confirmed there were two separate transactions pending from enterprise for the amount of $653.27. The customer service rep provided two separate local numbers to reach someone directly to discuss this issue and each time I called the numbers provided following the prompts given the phone rang continuously with no answer. After finally receiving a call back from a manager from this location after I called the 800 number for the third time and she sent a message to the location. I was advised he was reaching out to the accounting department to investigate this issue. I had requested when we spoke that he contact me by phone with an update vs email as I was working and was unable to check my email regularly throughout the day to obtain a response. After not hearing back from him for well over 24 hours, I sent a follow up email seeing this seems to be the only way to get a response to be informed that he needed to send the email again to the accounting department to follow up. After he received response minutes later he continued to email me vs call me as previously requested. I was then informed that they needed proof of two transactions being processed which I provided a screen shot of this along with proof that my account continues to go in to the negative to once again I receive no update on the status of this issue. I have had $0.00 to my name and have been unable to even purchase formula for my son due to their error and my account continues going in to the negative with every autopay payment that was previously scheduled to deduct from my account that should have been covered had they not made this mistake and no one has made any attempt to make this right. Had they not charged me twice I would have had enough money to cover my expected bills and buy simple necessary things over the last few days. This rental was picked up Sunday evening and $653.27 showed pending as a transaction twice even with the proof provided immediately after they requested it I still await a resolution to this issue. I will never consider using enterprise again and will be looking to speak to a district manager regarding this issue. The lack of communication on this issue is appalling and Enterprise should be ashamed on how this situation is currently being handled.

i recently rented a Jeep SUV at Albany, NY Airport. The staff there were friendly and helpful The car worked well. The Sirius Radio Service I requested was not functioning for most of the three days, but that seems to be a problem between Enterprise and Sirius. They use a very strong cleaning product in the car, if you have allergies or problems, ask them to air the car out before you take it.

Quick and easy from start to finish. I had asked for a Jetta or similar, and I got a Dodge Charger. That was fun and helpful along the way to maneuver in New York traffic. Good gas mileage, too, by the way.

My Enterprise rental car experience, renting from Albany NY International Airport (Oct. 2023), went as smoothly and quickly as I could have hoped for. There was not a single other customer waiting in line at the airport check-in counter for Enterprise (where other options were quite backed-up), and the rep there had me through the check-in process within about 3 minutes. I was checked in for my car rental even before my checked luggage arrived on the baggage claim carousel.When I got to the parking garage Enterprise booth (a short couple-minute walk from baggage claim) to get my keys, the rep there was awesome and gave me a sweet upgrade to a gorgeous 2023 Toyota Tacoma, 4-door / cherry red, at no extra charge! The total cost of my rental was exactly what had been estimated at the time of my reservation, with no up-charges or hidden costs, and I did not have to pay on the reservation until I picked up the vehicle.Returning was a breeze as well - parked, dropped off keys, and was on my way walking into the airport (no shuttle needed). All in all, an amazing rental car experience - highly recommend and I will definitely be renting from Enterprise again. Thank you for the terrific customer service!

Rented an Enterprise car at the Albany airport. Five stars, or more! Pick up and drop off for both super fast and incredibly convenient. The car I had requested was there when I wanted it and I was on the road within minutes of arriving at the front desk. No surprise charges at drop-off. I chose to have them refill it and the charge was fair. The car was clean and a great shape, and I could not have been happier! I have rented cars from a number of car rental agencies, and Enterprise is the best, by far!

Hello ,Had reservations to pick up the rental car at the Latham Ny location at 12 noon on Saturday .Needless to say when I got there , it was closed . It appeared to me someone from the location tried calling me from a personal number as I was driving to the location , I tried to call back when I got there but no answer no message . This caused great confusion with my spouse and I as she booked this for me . We were not given the option to get a car from the 24hr airport location which I found out later scrambling to get a car on a weekend . Customer service left us hanging , we are very disappointed. The Albany ny airport location was great they did all they could to help us . Had to go through and create a whole new reservation. New to Albany we are going to try another rental service in the future . No one to call to apologize or consider we might have need some help since it was a weekend reservation. Very disappointed!Gerald Waterman

I made A reservation for a vehicle. At 900 Central Ave Location. In Albany New York 12206. I was treated very unprofessionally by By Madeline Corder. Assistant Branch Manager. I was told in front of a customer,and other Enterprise employees that. I could not rent a vehicle due to myself being on a budget plan with National Grid. She also started in front of another customer,and other employees that. I had a out standing balance of a amount that was incorrect. It was very,rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional,and disrespectful. It was very embarrassing on my end. She did it with no care or consideration of how it would make someone feel. The district Manager Barry as well showed no care of how I was treated in the situation. I would like this matter investigate to the fullest extant. So that this doesn't happen to anyone ever again. When I picked up the car from Albany airport, a Subaru Forrester, it only had one quarter tank of gas and it had a small dent on the side. It also smelled like the previous renter had smoked in the car. The Enterprise representatives were helpful and I wasn’t charged for the dent or for returning it with a quarter tank of gas. However, this wasn’t the typical quality of car and service that I’ve had with Enterprise and I was disappointed.

From the online reservation to the dropping off of the vehicle, I had a great experience with Enterprise. The line wasn’t long to get the vehicle after arriving to the airport. Although they didn’t have my requested size vehicle, I was offered an upgraded vehicle. My vehicle was very gas efficient. I had no issues during the entire trip. Lastly, dropping off the vehicle was very smooth.

We seldom have a need for a rental car but, based on our son's recommendation, we went through Enterprise Rent-A-Car for a long weekend, and we very pleased with the car provided and with the service. When we objected to a rise in one of the charges after we received a free upgrade, the charge was quickly corrected upon return of the vehicle.

Everyone at the Enterprise location was very helpful and courteous. I have one complaint. The parking garage where I picked up the car was reeking of pot. This was at Albany International Airport. Just because NY has made it legal, you should not be able to foul the air around other people.
