Fort Orange General Store is a charming, gorgeous, and thoughtfully curated local gift shop. It offers beautiful, hand-picked home goods and gifts with an emphasis on handmade quality, great design, and high-quality goods from local sellers, artists, and small companies. The store provides a lively, modern atmosphere and features Albany‑centric apparel, pantry items, art, and stationery. The staff is friendly and helpful. While a bit pricier, it is an absolute gem for finding unique, locally sourced finds and the perfect gift.
We stop in every time we're back upstate to get souvenirs to give as gifts to our friends and family. I'm so glad we stumbled across this place!
