Wouldn’t recommend unless they can resolve the problem I had. I received an unsafe vehicle and have heard no response from Hertz after complaining. Customer service was minimal. It’s a far walk to Hertz in from baggage, I’ll save the my steps next time.

Please do not rent from this location. They were so rude. They offered no help. They had zero empathy and sympathy. Very much lacking in customer service. It’s also not a very well organized system. Cars everywhere.Also: don’t expect them to care about you or any situation you are in. They just want more money out of you.Corporations are getting way out of hand.

I booked a midzize SUV for one day. When I arrived the agent tried to upsell and get me into a bigger SUV which was deceiving. He then calls to see what vehicles are available and said no midsize SUVs were available. I said I don’t want a big SUV it’s just me. The gas isn’t going to be efficient. He calls back and says that’s all they have or he could put me in a compact. I said fine and they put me in a a Highlander. Then when I went to get the car I noticed a lot of smaller suvs but didn’t have the time to argue. If you book a midsize suv and prepay then you should get a midsize suv

Italia was great, there was some confusion went out of her way to get us the car we wanted (soo… correction) Italian still Gets 5 Stars but HERTZ would get 0 Stars if that were an option. Apparently anyone that’s had a rental from now till August I’d check your bank statements or credit card. Because apparently we paid twice. So ok no problem let me just call hertz ? what a joke. Once this guy gets the confirmation # & pulls everything up he hangs up on Me!! Hertz I’d call me if I were you. Just saying about to contact the Better Business Bureau!!

Still standing in the cold! My wife reserved a car and upon my arrival I was asked for a credit card. The attendant did not accept my card but wanted her card. My wife was not with me. The attendant was not helpful! The attendant would not switch the reservation to my card. The attendant would not enter the card manually.I called the Hertz car customer service and they were helpful. They changed the reservation to my card over the phone. I asked them to stay on the line while I checked in.The attendant now would not accept the reservation because my wife’s discount was used!!!!!I walked away at that!!!The Hetrz agent/caller even couldn’t believe it.01/02/24I had returned to Hertz late that night after my wife’s arrival and still was not able to rent a car. My reservation had been cancelled!!!Curiously I have not been contacted by Hertz. No , sorry here is a free rental to make it up. Nothing, crickets.

Great that they rent Tesla vehicles. Disappointing that when returning the car they added a $35 EV recharge fee even though I returned at 83% charge. Luckily had time to go talk to counter and get fixed. Be sure to review receipt before going through security to ensure they don’t add additional fees. THEY need to ensure Tesla cars have mobile charging cable and the 1772 adapter. Ours didn’t have either which can create real problems for renters who may not be near a supercharger.

Worst car rental experience I have ever had. Go to Enterprise – they have far better management. Was given a smaller vehicle than what I paid for initially, with no alternative or compensation. I got on the phone with customer service and within ten minutes the manager miraculously produces the product I paid for. Mind you, I had already wasted one hour of my time by the time he brought this vehicle to me. I get in and see the tank half empty. I let him know and he says I can return it at the same level, which makes no sense since I prepaid for my tank of gas. He goes and “fills it up” but come to find out when I fill it up later myself, he’s intentionally left off a couple gallons so that it appeared full - how? On the 2023 Ford Edge you can see how full it is as you are filling it. He dropped it off at 408 miles to empty, and I see later that a complete fill goes to over 450 miles. These are just the facts, but in my opinion that manager has no tact in dealing with customers either. He is arrogant, petty, and deceptive. Still no compensation or response from corporate , and in the meantime they charged me for PlatePass even though I never took it out of its shield! NEVER using Hertz again, at least at this location. They are running a scam.

Kia was garbage. They claimed it had cruise control but I couldn't find it. Final price was far higher than the quoted price. Albany folks couldn't be bothered to come out of their warm shack for the return.

The 2023 Nissan Rogue was filthy on the outside. and the cruise control did not work. Also the hertz counter would not answer the phone number listed for them. They hung up on me 3 times. Very poor customer service

They couldn't find my reservation thru priceline. Not my name or my reservation number. Had me walk across the street with all my luggage to enterprise to see if my reservation was with them. Wasn't. Stopped at the Hertz booth in the garage and the guy there found it right away. So I had to drag all my luggage back inside the airport to their booth. My name was misspelled. I thought everything was good to go. Because I don't have a credit card just a debit card Hertz ran a soft credit check. My number was too low for them so they wouldn't rent me a car. I had paid for 1/2 of the car rental with my debit card at least 1 month prior. Didn't matter to Hertz. No car. Gave me a customer service number to call. They could see my reservation. All I had to do was have someone from the priceline car rental company call Hertz by 5 or 6 pm when they closed. I couldn't find a number. Priceline couldn't find my reservation. I finally found a number for the priceline rental car co. She called Hertz customer service but they were closed. She told me to file a complaint against Hertz when I got back home to get my money back.

Horrible customer service! I lost a $600 small Louis Vuitton purse, a nice gentleman found it after I dropped off the car, he handed it to an employee and reported it. I am trying to recover it and they can’t find it! It’s impossible to talk to anyone there or even in their corporate office!
