“I have been a customer here for literally decades. There have been many changes including a remodel/enlargement of the pharmacy section a number of years ago. The store now seems to be running well. Despite installing checkout machines they maintain at least one clerk up front although you may need to find him/her on off hours. Between the world’s longest receipts and the e mails there are bargains to be had. Recent lesson-if you have an “X percent off one item” coupon, DO NOT use extra bucks on the same transaction. Just use the coupon or the extra bucks will be deducted from the item before the coupon is applied.
The pharmacy itself is pretty efficient but don’t try to pick up during the 4-6 PM hour, and remember their lunch break! The new pharmacist addition, Ben I believe is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall much better service than Walgreens and more convenient than Price Chopper.”

“My first time using this pharmacy. Its a small pharmacy in the lower level of Albany Damian House. Initially was not completely comfortable using it. But they understand the urgency of needing your scripts and as its more of a speacialty pharmacy keep complete open communication about your meds and the status. They are very professional yet personable. Its very clean and orderly as well.”
“I needed a receipt reprinted from 10 days ago. Every employee in the store, on the phone and in person, was extremely courteous and helpful. They took the time to work with me and were able to reprint my receipt, which was extremely helpful to me. The store is clean and stocked. I moved my prescriptions to this location and am glad I did. The pharmacy staff is also wonderful. They are patient when busy while still being efficient. They take the time to answer questions and check in when prompted. I am very happy with this location and plan to continue shopping here.”

“The most professional and knowledgeable pharmacy I have ever been a customer of. Kris is a hidden gem of a pharmacist and I am so glad to have switched over to this pharmacy from one of the big national chains that was unreliable.Is it a smaller pharmacy? Yes. Does that mean at peak times you might have to wait for a person or two in front of you? Yes. That’s not the staff’s fault. The staff here more than makes up for it with their quality work and professional approach.They have the resources of the large national chains with a small town feel. It’s the best part of this Price Chopper location!”

I know that working during the pandemic makes pharmacy jobs more stressful than ever, but I've found the staff at Walgreens to be helpful and polite. Their facility looks clean. They generally answer the phone, so I can order my medication and get on with my day.”

“This review is regarding the CVS pharmacy located at 415-417 Delaware Avenue in Albany, NY. I think the CVS store itself is terrific! It is always clean, the aisles are always clear, it is usually well stocked and the employees are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy is hit or miss. If you are lucky enough to be there while the pharmacist Michael is working then you are definitely going to have a positive experience as he is super friendly, very knowledgeable and always willing to answer your questions or give a helping hand in any way he is able. CVS should know and recognize how lucky they are to have a fantastic model employee such as Michael and his efforts should not go unnoticed! However, there is another pharmacist that works on occasion that I do not think as highly of. But that is all I will say about her due to the fact I do not want to be treated any worse than I already am when she is working.”

“I have been to many pharmacies for the past 40 years and this has got to me my favorite pharmacy so far. The pharmacist and the employees are so nice and if you have to wait in line a little bit well so does everybody else so it comes with the territory but the pharmacy is the Best buy far in at least the surrounding 30 me that I know of. I highly recommend them and if you don't choose them then that's your problem not theirs.”

“I ran into this location for convenience at the time, however I think I may make it a point to continue using this location because of how great my experience was! Products were very easy to find, the store is organized and well maintained, and my favorite part was the incredibly friendly customer service. The conversation at checkout was a nice personable one that didn't feel generic or forced, which you typically get in the world of customer care. I really appreciate the interaction I had with the woman behind the register and I'll absolutely be back at this location more often!”
