“I couldn't tell what they sold from the outside but when I went and I saw a shea butter and other hair products and then they had food some fresh vegetables lots of green stuff I don't know what kind didn't get a chance to look at it all and they had canned goods and dry goods. I didn't recognize a lot of things so I have to come prepared next time I go. The one thing I didn't like is I felt like I could smell them moth balls.”

“Great store to have in the neighborhood. I usually get frozen foods here like veggie burgers. It's convenient to pick up nut milk, eggs, cheese and other things you may need. I usually add something new to my purchase each time because there are a lot of interesting things to try. I have bought medicinal herbal teas, saffron, no-sugar chocolate, mushroom miso soup among other unusual things. Prices are very reasonable especially compared to the local healthfood co-op.”

“These guys are the best! A staple of colonie for over 20 years now and far too underrated, especially being right down the road from the mall! Best deli around and the fresh kaiser rolls are TO DIE FOR level softness baked to perfection every time just like their deserts(brownies, cookies, cakes, etc). And most importantly, you won't find nicer people anywhere, it's a family owned establishment and it is absolutely a lovely family.”

Apparently, they're not letting anyone enter other than the folks who work or just hang out there.A man quickly approached and asked what I needed. “My mom and i used to live next door at the Roger Ploof apartments when i was a kid. 15/16 years ago. This place originally was called Frank Giavonni's at the time. Wanted to stop in after all these years, i was beyond impressed. The smell when you walk in really brings back memories. I had stewed chicken with red beans an rice. 8$ for a small was plenty for one person. Impressed the new owners are maintaining the original look of the store and the original recipes for the foods all these years later. Still tastes just as good as i remember. Definitely will be back when visiting upstate 🤍🙏🏼”

“The most professional and knowledgeable pharmacy I have ever been a customer of. Kris is a hidden gem of a pharmacist and I am so glad to have switched over to this pharmacy from one of the big national chains that was unreliable.Is it a smaller pharmacy? Yes. Does that mean at peak times you might have to wait for a person or two in front of you? Yes. That’s not the staff’s fault. The staff here more than makes up for it with their quality work and professional approach.They have the resources of the large national chains with a small town feel. It’s the best part of this Price Chopper location!”
