“Huge selection. Like another reviewer said, the bulk bins are spectacular. They are a throwback to old markets where you would buy your beans and grains and other dry goods out of big containers. Something I used to see occasionally as a child. I bought navy beans here, which I actually had a hard time finding in my local supermarkets. They have a bunch of nifty sections if you want to make your own... Well pretty much anything. There's yeast and kombucha and all kinds of raw and fermented stuff. Huge selection in a small store Now the bad part: if you were looking to spend $200 on groceries that you can carry out in one hand, this is certainly your place, you will have no problem doing that, and a huge selection to choose from. It seems like most of the food quality is a cut above, especially for cheeses and specialty items. However, I can't imagine people shopping here for their daily needs We had a lovely cashier named Val, I am sure we could be good friends! She asked me if we were members of the co-op, and when I asked her what was involved with that, it was a $100 yearly fee and a three hour orientation to become a member. I really admire the people who are committed to such things, but it's just a bit much for me. Happy to go there sometimes to get some specialty items though. One more thing: quite nice and interesting plant selection. Surprising in a little market, but they had all sorts of little cactus and succulents and other plans, really nice little stuff.”

“I couldn't tell what they sold from the outside but when I went and I saw a shea butter and other hair products and then they had food some fresh vegetables lots of green stuff I don't know what kind didn't get a chance to look at it all and they had canned goods and dry goods. I didn't recognize a lot of things so I have to come prepared next time I go. The one thing I didn't like is I felt like I could smell them moth balls.”

“Ok so I have to recommend this because it’s to unbelievable not to!! So I was doing some research on Bitcon as I have been hearing how others are making big profits from it. So on a wing and a prayer I took the last $500 i had in my account and invested it into Bitcoin Mining and I got some profit in just one day!! I quickly made a partial withdrawal successfully to my Bank account, and reinvested again. It worked with my investment coach Kirstinalbertpalmern. I never thought it possible, I was always skeptical about Bitcoin but it’s”

“This is our go-to place for Mexican takeout, and my review will be colored by the weird fact that despite having eaten from here a ton of times, I've never actually been inside. Going here has somehow turned into my husband's chore. English isn't his first language, and he says that the same goes for the employees, so to avoid miscommunication our strategy is just to copy down the Spanish names of what we want from the menu and give the list to the staff on arrival. So far they've gotten the order exactly right every time, so if you're Spanish-deficient like us this might be a good strategy for you, too. I've ordered from all over the menu, but my fallbacks are the delicious tamales and the super-comforting caldo de res (if you think there isn't actually any beef in your portion, dig to the bottom of the container where you'll find a couple of huge, tender pieces). Neither have ever let me down. My husband usually gets the camaron ala Mexicana, which always includes plenty of shrimp. Portions are ultra-generous, the prices are beyond reasonable, and the food hasn't let me down yet. My only complaint is that they don't sell their salsa verde in larger containers for me to dump all over my eggs in the morning.”

“I love this place, I went to get some dried fish and they had it, but I ended up buying more than what I went to get lol. Due to the customer service, and on another occasion, they were not open and I eventually saw the owner and I signal to him I need to get an outfit, and he sent his wife to come and attend to me. I couldn't believe it lol .if most businesses will not care how hard I knocked the door, they will shout we are closed lol. But they didn't. Alhamduliah for such service!”

“A funky little Bodega that my son introduced me to. Given the location and that it is current in the back of a Mexican goods store in downtown Albany, I was totally and very pleasantly surprised by the excellent food: I had the chicken in mole sauce. Very authentic! And delish! And the service was very pleasant. Overall, well worth the trip!”

“The only reason it got four stars was because the sweet African bread I bought had mold on the bottom and was unusable and not noticeable until I got home. The only suggestion I would have is that bread products are inspected daily for mold”

“I like coming here for good prices on beer and other neat drinks normally not found elsewhere. The two gentlemen that work here are both very nice. I come back to their store often simply because how genuine they are. That and you can't beat a $2 dollar white claw 8% ABV can either haha.”

“Did a delivery takeout order and it was a success! First kudos to the delivery driver who brought everything in an insulated tote! As for food: Absolutely the best crab ragoons I have found in the capital district! A nice balance of meat to cream cheese in a light, crispy shell. Fried dumpling perfection and plenty of tasty filling. Shrimp spring rolls very tasty, love the glass noodles, but a bit over fried for my liking. Chicken wings nicely crisped and tasty. Sushi: Tempura & California rolls, I appreciate attention to detail following my request for no cucmber. Rice was a touch too dry, made them taste like they had been sitting around, which is NOT the case since mine was a special order but overall the rolls were tasty and fish & veggies fresh. This was a . Will be eating there again.”

“This is for Hannaford to go pickup order. I tried it yesterday and highly impressed. Super friendly and a very pleasant and convenient experience. Am happy with the quality of items picked out.I would give a 5, but they didn't have everything. However, I was ok with that and understand. I would use this service again in the future. Thank you.”

“Classic Italian staples and prepared foods which are consistently excellent. The chicken meatballs are a must try. There are a lot of great cheeses, meats, salads, and a solid 4-5 star on sandwiches and entrees. My personal favorites are the pasta fagioli which i think is served daily and their FRIED EGGPLANT! Thinly sliced. Perfect!”

“I like this grocery. They’ve got good frozen dishes, for eating later. I’ve yet to taste the food fresh from the kitchen. If it tastes like the “frozen-eat-later” items, I know it will be worth the money. I hope they’re able to grow and stick around. It’s a better use of the building than the old McD’s.”
