About PRIMAL: Your Local Butcher

PRIMAL: Your Local Butcher is a high-quality butcher and delicatessen that offers USDA Prime and Choice meat that is antibiotic and hormone free. Customers appreciate the wide selection, including hot and cold sandwiches, Boar's Head deli meats, and ready-to-heat Meals To Go. The store is known for its excellent meats, including a year-round supply of brisket, and local baked items that are not typically available at larger grocery stores or chains. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing good service and stepping up to resolve issues, such as offering prime ribeyes when a Thanksgiving meal was shorted due to distributor problems. Customers have enjoyed their meals, with some describing the steak sandwich as the best ever and praising the quality of the food, even though prices are considered high. The Thanksgiving dinners, which have been ordered for several years, are well-received, with praise for the moist, flavorful turkey and tasty sides like mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, squash, sausage dressing, and cranberry sauce. In cases where a meal was shorted, the staff went above and beyond by providing a turkey breast and prime ribeyes to make up for it, showing their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, PRIMAL is seen as a reliable local spot for premium meats and quality prepared foods, with a friendly atmosphere and a focus on customer service. Despite some concerns about cost, many find the quality worth the price and plan to return for both regular shopping and special occasions.
