The other reviews are accurate. The person who picked this place for our party to stay clearly didn't read the reviews. It is one of the most fun down hotels I've ever seen. It should not be in service in this condition. Even the Chris they have for the poor front desk people are filthy. The bathroom grout is black, everything is rusted, molded, or stained. The website photos must be 30 years old. The halls are dark and smelly. The bottom floor smells like cigarettes. There are private security guards on the first floor. It's just gross.Rooms: Stained and disgusting. There's an ironing board and no iron. An ice bucket with no lid. A closet bar with no hangers. The TV is circa 1985. The walls are stained, the bathtub floor is dirty.

Bed bugs were present someone was in the room for probably 30 seconds and the manager is choosing to not refund my money. I lost hotel points that I saved up and applied to this room. I am reading endless reviews on here saying the same thing. Unfair treatment all around.

This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star, they should have zero in my opinion. Cheap does not always mean better!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL! Their rooms are nasty. My boyfriend checked in and upon investigating the bed found bed bugs. They went to the desk and were told they would be refunded. Two days later we are told that there is a strict no cancellation policy. UMM YOU GUYS HAVE BED BUGS??? They told us because the bed looked like someone had slept in it … mind you we were there for maybe 15 minutes … they can’t refund us because of the cleaning fee. LOL WHAT CLEANING??? If your hotel was clean there would not be so many complaints, and you would not have bed bugs. This place is health violation and should be shut down. Shame on whoever runs this business.

Ramada Inn Albany:The bad:- The place was really run down and very dingy.- Not clean at all.- Saw and had to kill a cockroach that was traversing on the ceiling.- Did not have hand soap when we checked-in and had to request a bar which they did provide.- I will include a picture, our refrigerator was unplugged and the water that was defrosting was melting into the carpet, and someone left a sheet to dry it where the ice was melting.- the phone to the front desk was not operating.- The entire room fixtures seem very old and unkept.- It just seemed to us that the room was clearly not ready and was under repair but they decided to rent it out anyway. The ok:- The 1 star was given for the person who checked us in, he was quite friendly.- The toilet had great pressure, if you can count that as a good.- The morning breakfast was served in such a manner that 1 person was there to serve ppl and all the food products were behind a counter so you could not serve yourself, I suppose due to trying to prevent theft, maybe that speaks to the clientele that goes there. But to this setup, the process took absolutely forever, where you had to ask for each item 1 at a time, causing a great bottleneck. The person behind the food counter was trying his best, but I could tell he was getting a bit frustrated with all of the stuff we were asking for; at which point I pulled out a $5 bill and tipped him and that seemed to change his entire attitude.*All in all, i have to really recommend to stay clear of this hotel unless you absolutely have no other options, as I am very glad and fortunate to have to stay 1 night here.

Checked in to hotel coming through the door there was bug crawling up the door my husband killed it said it looked like a cockroach so we googled it it was. I called the desk said to the guy I found a cockroach he said and what do you want me to do I said I want a different room he said you only found a few and killed them call me back if you find more and I will change your room. We immediately left the hotel and walked out handed him the key and told him that his bugs were still in a tissue dead on the sink. Worst place ever

I usually do not leave reviews because I think is a waste of time. But in this case I will. Me and my boyfriend travelled from Canada for a weekend because of a family event. We stayed at this hotel and once we got into the room we noticed a few cockroaches wondering on top of the desk. We didn’t pay too much attention, but then at night they all came out!!! We complained to the front desk and they told us the house keeper will clean the room. We left for the day and came back to sleep and the room wasn’t clean! We complained again and they said they do not have any issues with cockroaches! Me and my boyfriend left and they did not acknowledge the problem.I do not recommend this hotel.

I travel a lot for work around America staying in budget level hotels and can honestly say this is the worst hotel I have stayed at. I have never left a review but feel I need to as the hotel clearly doesn't do anything about the problems reading previous reviews. The rooms were dark, the door didn't seem to lock and there was a cockroach infestation in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk to ask to change rooms they said there was nothing they could do and 'bugs sometimes get in hotels'. I killed 10 cockroaches in my 5 hour stay and there were plenty more. The bath backed up so all the dirt and hairs floated around the tub when trying to shower. I would avoid this place at all costs.

It is unfortunate, I have never had to give a bad review, but I would say do not use this hotel. It doesn't do the Ramada or Wyndham brand justice. The rooms are overrun with roaches, the place is rundown, the non-smoking rooms smell like smoke, and it appears that part of it is devoted to being a shelter. The positives are that some of the staff are really nice, there is a lot of parking and it is located in a quiet, easily accessible area.

When I arrived they sent me to a room where someone was already staying. They had to send me to a new room. I Killed over 5 bugs, found 3 used condoms in the room. I have never been more disgusted in my life. I had to check out immediately. They promised me a refund a the desk, that’s hope they keep that promise.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Would be better sleeping in car in the parking lot. Extremely tired building and rooms. Employees are just there cause have be. Was tired and just needed sleep woke up in morning thought about showering turned on bathroom light bugs scattered looked at tub more black mold then caulking around tub. Washed face quickly and left. Breakfast was available but didn't have the desire to even look to see what was there. SO SAVE MONEY SLEEP IN THE PARKING LOT.Rooms: Gross rooms.Safety ?

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place is disguising. The toilet clogged twice and overflowed. The carpet was dirty. The room smelled. There was no cold water, only scalding hot shower. And I found a roach, yes a live roach in the bathroom. I will never stay at another Ramada

This is one of the most disgusting places I have every stayed at. Like others, if I could give it no stars or negative stars, that is where we would be. As in several of the other posts, there were people loitering around out front. This made us very uncomfortable. When we got to the room, we didn't leave until we got up and left the next morning. We ate candy for dinner. And I brought my own water so we didn't have to use theirs. Fortunately, we didn't see any bugs. I made sure we didn't put anything on the floor. The Front Desk Male was the worse I have every encountered. He yelled at the female employee. Told her to shut up because she was nothing to him. He kept this up for several minutes. She finally pushed back and my husband told the man that we would appreciate he not speak to her like that. She commented that she should get a lawyer, and I told her she should. I agree with others, I do not know how this place is still in business, let alone associated with the Wyndam name.
