Good location, but not easy to find. It’s essentially a yellow house converted to drs offices! It’s across from Tim Hortons. It is between the two major plazas in Alden so if you pass the first one, it’s right after that on the right, if you go to the second one heading further into Alden, turn around and go back. When you see Tim Hortons, turn left.

It is very clear to me that Quest Diagnostics seeks to over schedule and has lost grips with patient care. One nurse comes out every 20 minutes and barks a name. It’s 1:05pm on 10/19/2023 and I’ve been sitting here since 12:28pm for my appointment. Others have been waiting twice as long as myself. Waiting room is too small to accommodate the influx of people. I’m simply here for an employment drug test but there are elderly folks here genuinely being ignored and gaslighted by staff. Not a good look.

While I understand the importance of appointments, if walk-ins are accepted they should be taken as a appointments are finished. More then one occasion waiting room was empty and staff went to get coffee and donuts. Unfortunate I've always had good luck here. Staff seemed to change

TL;DR - Use the appointment system or don't come to this location!IF you can get an appointment here, the service is great. I use the quest website to get the appointment setup, but I often have to scheduled 2~3 weeks in advanced, because almost all appointments are filled. The service texts friendly reminders and allows for check-in by phone. Super convenient!I did have one instance where the building was closed, but this was due to an ice storm, and I was hopeful a necessary medical service would still be available. Sadly not the case that day.I approve of the NO WALK IN policy. This location has limited staff and space, and trying to juggle walk-ins and appointments would degradate the otherwise professional and courteous service this location provides.

I have made 4 appointments at this Quest. And I make times for early morning for my boyfriend. When he arrives 15 minutes early along with others waiting in the parking lot there are no employees in the building. Something needs to be done.

Horrible review. Been trying to get blood work for 5 days. I have an important upcoming surgery that is going to be put on hold because I can't get my blood work done. I've been to quest in alden ny 3 times. They are so under staffed I waited and wasted My time 3 different times now and relieved no help from a human only a kiosk. Quest sucks I'd find somewhere else to go unless you want your time wasted like me.

Dawn drew my blood. I was pleasantly surprised with her caring upbeat attitude. She was quick and efficient and did it all with a smile. That hasn’t been my experience for quite some timeThank you!

I scheduled an appointment online for bloodwork. I had terrible anxiety due to my last quest experience (another location) being so awful. Today I had the pleasure of being seen by Dawn in Alden NY. She actually listened when I told her I have tricky veins. I received the butterfly through a vein in my hand and it was nearly painless (and also quick!) She was excellent at decreasing my anxiety levels throughout the visit. 10/10 would recommend!

I have visited this location several times, and have always been waited on quickly within minutes of my appointment time and the staff is always professional and courteous. They are also very quick to process your lab results and do a great job of accessing them online though their app.

So happy to have this location out here. Saves so much time and frustration going to locations farther away. Quest, please don't ever close it.

I scheduled an appointment ahead of time and it was super easy to get my blood work done!! I was seen by Felicia and she was extremely nice and helpful! I was in and out in about ten minutes and I am very thankful I was able to have such an easy experience!

I had a horrible experience today at this location. I was in a good mood before I went there, but when I entered the office it quickly changed to feeling very hurt and confused that the person running the Alden location was extremely rude.Additionally, it states on their website that walk-ins are accepted but I was told again by this rude person they do not take walk-ins. I do not want to see the automated reply stating - "We apologize for your inconvenience."What needs to happen is this location and employee need to be held accountable for their actions.

No where on the website does it say appointment only no walk in. When I went in there was not one person in the place!!! All the lady was worried about was going to lunch at 11. Seriously do not go there!!!

The person who helped me today was so kind and welcoming. I wish I caught her name but all I remember was she took me to room 2. I HATE blood and she made me comfortable. Just a wonderful experience.

3x made an appointment in last 2 weeks, 3x cancelled after I arrived at Quest in Alden or cancelled at the last minute due to " building maintainence". Why are they continuously accepting appointments and then cancelling at last minute? By following this type of policy it indicates the lack of respect that Quest has for their patients. Either be honest with your patients or take this Alden office off your website.
