Staff members go above and beyond to help, demonstrating wonderful service. The stores are noted for having specific items that other retailers do not carry, enabling quick and successful stops. However, the chain is also described as way overpriced on everything, with some noting humorous pricing on small items sold individually.
Have shopped at Valu previously and needed a shelf for my basement. Had exactly what I needed and it was on sale. Clerk helped take it to car for us. Superior customer service

Good experience but selling bins of nails and screws piece by piece is hilarious. Roughly $.17 for each small 5/8 nail in case you're wondering. Lol
