“Very busy today. Only one cashier open and only three self checkout. Like Aldi prices and their selection. Not sure why they moved produce to the front. It seems so congested now when you first enter the store.”

“Pretty cheap store!! They have a few delicious deli selections leftover...their prices in their subs are quite pricey though!! $20 for a whole sub!?!? Wow!!! Almost like wegmans prices! I'll go elsewhere...subway has been decently priced..I haven't been to Andy's in years..I remember their subs being delicious! I'll have to get a sub from there sometime...”
“Outstanding customer service in all departments. I can’t imagine the small Village of Arkport without Arkport (Cy’s) Surefine. Prices vary, but many items are better priced than the bigger stores each and every day. For a small to medium store they cover so many areas with products and/or service's..”

“A large selection in a large store. They usually have what I want or need. Better than the village I live in or near. There are limited options closer to our residence.”

“Wonderful prices staff is excellent. The store is clean most of the time. However, I do notice there is a lack of materials to sanitize carts and no hand sanitizer like other stores have. Other than that I recommend their pizza sauce it's very good. They have pizza dough that has the fun "adult jack in the box" style where you bang it on a table and it pops open. They have very cheap cream cheese as well I always get it for a dollar.”
“The guy who helped us I was very friendly. I was surprised by all the different things you can find in this specific location. Highly recommend to go by and visit. However be careful with one of the ladies fragrance my mother bought one splash and it gave her allergic reaction”
“The employee Bill in Andover, NY has always been friendly and knowledgeable in knowing where the items in our store are. He has been personable, pleasant and nice to talk to. He always seems to be working by filling shelves, helping customers find items even while he is stocking the shelves at the same time and checking us out at the checkout. He always seems to know where all the items I have looked for were. I think he is a good employee of our Dollar General in Andover, NY! I think he is a “keeper”! !Rita S.”
“I am unsure of who this very kind employee is older gentle, my card declined and just did not work he had no hesitation to tell me no one goes hungry on his watch and paid for my items. We need more people like this kind gentleman to show in out world”

“This is a small town Walmart so they don't have everything, but the pharmacy is quick and super helpful. Always check the clearance section as smaller Walmarts discount things more often.”
“As a citizen of the United States I enjoy certain things. Fresh apple pie, my grandma's kisses, a cold beer, and firearms. However, more than anything I love Christmas. Today November 8th at 7:21 I went into the dollar general to purchase some of that cheap Christmas joy that only the general of all dollars could bring me. After perusing the isles I noticed a disturbing lack of Christmas spirit but I was determined not to let this ruin my Christmas spirit that of which rivals St. Nicholas' own. So after grabbing a pack of Christmas lights and a spider man Christmas stocking I was overjoyed when behind the desk I saw a young man ready and eager to assist in ringing out my Christmas items so I could continue my mission of bringing Christmas joy to all the boys and girls of Alfred. However, the young man who I originally thought to be Santa's little helper I soon came to realize was closer to satans little helper. After trying to share some Christmas spirit with this young man he looked me right and the eyes and said isn't it a bit early for Christmas. Never in my life have I ever been more offended by a statement in my life. Essentially what this man had said to me is I hate Jesus Christ and would prefer to celebrate the mistreatment of the native Americans I even believe at one point he looked me in the eyes and said let's get it on. Needless to say I will be heading to Walmart to purchase the rest of my Christmas needs. In summary the store is 5 stars but the staff there is lead by a man who I can only assume is the direct heir to the third Reich. Have a great day and marry Christmas.”
