Auto Repair in Altamont, NY

“I don't know why anyone from the Altamont area would go anywhere else but Mickle's. The guy is fair and knows what he's doing.
We needed an emergency repair done on our CR-V's exhaust system (a pipe had become detached due to a combination of rust and infamous Albany, NY roads). We are from out of town and were only in NY for the day, and had no idea what we were gonna do if we couldn't get this repaired same day. Mickle's got us fixed up and ready to go in maybe an hour, and the car feels and sounds better than it did six months ago. And needless to say, we got home safe and sound.”

“I honestly don't know where to start. Jason is simply outstanding. I dropped off my 92 Saab 900 Turbo Convertible to him with out ever meeting him. He came so highly recommended that I felt comfortable doing that although I was a bit uneasy at first. I left a laundry list of things to do and issues I was having, and I just kind of gave him free will to make the car right. You need someone like Jason with the old Saabs because you simply cannot find some parts, and he either has them, or has the connections to get them custom fabricated. I do some work on my own, but Jason's knowledge of Saabs is second to none. He truly has a passion for the brand, and has a passion for his customers cars, he treated mine like it was his own. He is very particular. For example unknown to me my Turbo Exhaust pipe was needing to be replaced. The only ones he could find came off other Saab 900's. They were functional but rusted. My car has no rust anywhere so he had the part custom fabricated by a machinist. The second example was my front headlight mounting brackets were busted, lights pointed down and everything. No part exists to replace it so he sent specs to a guy and had them made with a 3d printer. His level of detail is second to none. It took him 10 weeks, at first I didn't think it would take that long, but when you look at the effort that was made to visit salvage yards looking for parts, and parts custom made, I would have waited 10 months. We are truly blessed to have Jason and Elite Motors in this area. I drove a little over and hour to see him but honestly I would have my car shipped across country to have him work on it. You really can't go wrong here. He's honest, reasonable, all around a outstanding experience. Job well done sir!”

“Excellent service at a reasonable price. I needed brake pads replaced and they got me in the same day. Scheduling was effortless and the whole job was done quickly and effectively. The staff was clear and upfront about everything, which I really appreciated. Highly recommended!”

“I just wanted to say ive been using Foley's Garage for my repairs , oil changes, inspections for the past 29 years. My grandfather told me back then he went to them. Ive used other mechanics or one offs when needed but nobody has ever compared. Great family , knowledgeable and skilled team. I have never once had an issue when in need of their services. Glad I listened to my elders and put my trust in who they trusted. I'd pick a category but over the years its probably all been done to the 6 cars I've owned. All bought used and they helped me keep the life in them till they had no more to offer. Thanks again . As long as those doors are open I'll keep coming back.”
