“Jim is the man! I had some old gsxr injectors that were fouling plugs, he helped diagnose the issue, got me a good set of four, and saved me what would’ve been at least a few hundred bucks.”

“Grand Premier was awesome! I was in my new RV traveling from Cape Cod, MA to Colorado and I kept losing air from a rear tire. I saw now visible tire damage and the valve stem seemed fine. After visiting 3 shops, Grand Premier was willing to look at my rig. They found my new custom wheel failed (cracked) and they put on my spare tire - not an easy task. They wouldn’t take any money and send me on my way to finish my trip. OMG, these guys were life savers! Thank you! ?”

“I had a great experience at Shahani Motors. I brought in my 2009 Honda CR-V with a muffler issue and worked with Ali—he was honest, professional, and very transparent. He quickly diagnosed the problem, sent photos and videos, and explained everything clearly. There was no pressure or upselling, and I felt confident I was getting fair, honest service. After the repair, he showed me the old parts and shared helpful maintenance tips. Fair pricing and trustworthy service—highly recommend.”

“I have been going to Pete's since the turn of the century. My first time was when I was pitifully poor and had an early model Subaru with a bad muffler. I don't remember just how much I paid, but it had to be under 50 dollars. Imagine that! The first time continued over and over for more times than I can count. They always had the parts and always did just what was needed. I am going back tomorrow, 2026 with a 2014 Honda CRV. I don't have any questions to ask. I know they will take care of me.”

“I recently had my 60k service done on my Audi and the team was excellent from start to finish. They were professional, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly. The service was done quickly, the pricing was fair, and my car feels better than ever. It’s hard to find an auto shop you can truly trust, but they’ve definitely earned it. Highly recommend!”

“I highly recommend Old State Road Motorcar for preventative maintenance. Tim & Janet are excellent and they won’t try and take advantage of customers like a lot of the bigger chains. Be sure to schedule well in advance as they get booked up pretty quickly.”

“This is the only auto shop I trust in the Capital District. Larry and the crew here are honest and thorough, only recommending repairs that are absolutely necessary. Any time I go somewhere closer to where I live, like Meineke or Jiffy Lube, I get the hustler treatment and they push unnecessary repairs. Driving a little further to get to P&L Auto is always the right move.”

“Fantastic service Tony is a great guy, did amazing work. Left with my car looking better than the day I bought it. Highly recommend”

“My family has been going to Ritchie and the amazing mechanics at Pro Automotive for decades. Even after moving to another state I still drive back and have my vehicles serviced and repaired here. Having a fair and honest mechanic shop you can depend on is worth its weight in gold. I regrettably learned that lesson the hard way when I left for college and expected every place to be as fair, upfront and honest as Pro Auto. They were not. Hence the reason I return to the one mechanic shop i can truly trust. If you need your car serviced or repaired, Pro Automotive is a place you can trust and rely on to do top notch work at a reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about this place or it's people.”
99 Cordell Road, Schenectady NY 12304
“Dan, Sean, Brent I tip my hat and express great appreciation to you! I brought in my beloved vintage Maserati which has ferrari parts/engine and software, after 2 other (and well respected import shops) directed me to a dealership in Hartford for what was a ghost emissions code preventing inspection success. Upon reaching out to precision, i was immediately welcomed to bring the vehicle over and they with confidence would tackle the issue. For 2 weeks they performed diagnostics with patience, ruling out all issues and never quit the effort for me. (Thank you Brent; excellent work sir.). Very fair pricing too, and always kept me up to speed as to repair status. As dealerships come and go, the Capital region is lucky to have your repair business as an option; Italian cars deserve love too lol. Nys inspection ✅. (While Hartford is nice this time of year; this busy local attorney says thank you for the local convenience.) Hoping to remain a continued customer :)”

“Have only had an oil change here, but they seem honest and do not try to sell unneeded things. Will be my to go car place from now on. The Firestone told me all 4 of my rotors needed to be replaced despite having no significant rust and lots of pad left (and I repalced them within the last 2 years). McGregor confirmed my brakes were fine.”
