“Sweet’s helped me out when my truck began overheating on a road trip crossing NY State on I-90. The owner, Vashon, is professional and friendly. I called from the highway describing my situation and he assured me he could look at my truck when I arrived, which he did. Also, it was Saturday and Sweet’s was the only shop open in the area, which I attribute to plain good business sense! Vashon and a couple of his employees inspected and diagnosed the issue in a short time, communicated the details clearly with me and made sure I understood the cost. Vashon even went to pick up the parts needed himself because the parts shop doesn’t have delivery on Saturdays, and he still finished the work in an efficient manner! Kindness is professionalism. I read all the reviews here and I second all the five star reviews. For those of you that have poor reviews based on long waits or anything else, please consider that for tradespeople, of all kinds, there are many circumstances that are variable, and therefore out of their control when it comes to fixing cars or building houses or whatever it may be. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m certain, Vashon is offering dedicated service to his community and beyond. Thank you!”

I had other damages on the area getting repaired but only asked for the cosmetic damages to get repaired. Upon picking up my car, it was a nice surprise to see that Nick also handled the other damages. Nick only took a few days to do the job and he quoted me something very reasonable.”
“I came here to get a price for a transmission replacement. Transmissions aren't cheap anywhere you go, but the quote I received with a 1 year warranty on parts and labor was very very reasonable. Ken is the gentleman that helped me. He was very descriptive and detailed and also professional. When we were completed, I was more educated on foreign transmissions and felt at ease. “Great experience at Adirondack Express Lube in Amsterdam. I originally had an inspection scheduled somewhere else for 3:00, but when I showed up I found out their inspection tech wasn’t even working that day. I called Adirondack Express Lube since they were right down the road, and they told me to come on over.
They got me in within about 10 minutes, which I really appreciated, especially since it was the last day of the month and I needed to get my inspection done. The manager and every employee I dealt with, including the techs, were super friendly, helpful, and easy to deal with.
Really appreciate them fitting me in on such short notice. Great customer service all around, and I’ll definitely be back!”

Like any normal person I shopped around on the internet looking for that spectacular deal on new tires and installation. Four Corner Tire is superior to any big box operation. I received excellent service and the pricing was better than anyone else around.”

A dumb thing I did putting a sticker on the inside of a roll down window which got caught in down position on a rainy day. He fixed it and did not make me feel stupid. Charged me fairly. Honest and fair. This impressed me and will give them my business again if needed.”

I caught Pat (one of the mechanics) heading back from his lunch break. He hadn’t even gone inside the shop yet and explained my situation. Pat took a look at it without a second thought. Every shop is booked solid at least a week out so this was no small favor. The sheer humanity I experienced here was profound and I couldn’t be more grateful. This small town, family run, shop had me back on the road in a few hours. They were upstanding, trustworthy, and well meaning where others might have taken advantage.

“That's one of the best shops in the area, highly recommended for in shop repairs or road calls. I was diagnosed wrong and charged dearly on road call by another shop with recommendation to TOW and replace "failed" costly part.Luckily I called Frank, after listening to my issue he advised before calling towing to send one of his guys to look into issue again.Mechanic showed up very quickly and after investigation truck was fixed on site for a very friendly price.Frank could have taken advantage by just replacing a working part, but he DID NOT.Recommended shop for any trucking company, Thanks !!Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“Excellent repair station. FRIDAY Pulled up and they agreed to inspect. Checked all lights, lifted car, pulled wheels all good to go. Never tried to sell me anything. Said in future rear brakes need to be done but for now passed. From experience and being trained as mechanic 45 years ago I know what rear brakes in future mean, probably means good 1 to 3,000 miles depending on drive style. So I made appointment for Monday. Brakes done quickly, Done properly, pins, slide are on caliper greased, not just rotors and pads thrown on. Front 2 lower pins grinded and never-siezed, rotated tires. They know exactly what they are doing and very reasonable. Driving the car now and feels great, handles even better with rotated tires. I recommend this repair station. Good honest people. Went back to station couple weeks later on Friday July 3, 2026. Had my toyota hybrid serviced. Coolant from engine drained and refilled with toyota coolant, synthetic coolant from hybrid system drained and refilled, all old brake fluid drained refilled synthetic and bled, synthetic transmission fluid removed and replaced 205,000 miles. The car and tranny run like new. Tranny fluid was black but no noticeable soot. Many repair places dont like to change tranny fluid because most people dishonest. They will have tranny fluid replaced already knowing tranny is damaged and then come back and tell mechanic they damaged. Typical Americans. Anyways I told mechanic nothing wrong with tranny and will not hold them accountable. I will be willing to even sign document waiving their responsibility. 205,000 Im driving , drives like new. Crazy. No mechanic will give you such fair price.”
