Placed online order, offered assembly for store pickup same day. Received an email stating item was assembled and ready for pickup. Then received a call stating not assembled and would not be assembled for another 3 days or so. False advertising online, email for the order to show that the store assembled it and ready for pickup, which in fact was also false. Home Depo does not stand by what they claim! Order cancelled and purchased from Lowes with no issues.

This is for all customers and contractors that have credit cards with Home Depot. Buyers beware I had a clean credit card nothing on it then went to the flooring Department to purchase flooring, put a down payment to have people come out and measure. Things didn't work out so I went back to the store to get my money back. Lo and behold I had a manager in the store do it and they refunded most of it to my credit card which was a Home Depot credit card except for the amount of $1.8 which they tried to say I took back in cash LOL has anyone else ever got cash from their Home Depot card! I've contacted corporate office on their Shady dealings in that store. Be sure to always check your statements and save your receipts on everything I do think there's a lot of thieving going on at the customer's expense. I know a dollar eight is not a lot of money it's just the principle of this and I am not going to let it go I am sick and tired of being ripped off by these big box stores and if you think about how many people walk through their door each and every day and if they bring something back how much are they truly getting back on their card and how much is somebody actually pocketing in theirs keep your receipts for your own good and check them against your statements. Good luck to you if you can get in touch with somebody that speaks English that can help you with a dilemma from Home Depot their home office is full of idiots as well so disappointed with that store

Rude and unhelpful "employees", if you can call them that. Really, they're just people that wander around, ignore customers by chit chatting with each other, and get an hourly wage to do so. Or, they do what they did today. After having to ask (really, convince) one to help get with a large cabinet off of the shelf, we paid and left, without anyone asking if we'd like a hand bringing our purchase to our vehicle. Instead, we were followed to the parking lot, and approached by an "employee". He demanded we produce a receipt for our purchase. Really? So you can't provide any real customer service, we basically have to get a search party to find someone to assist with anything, none of the staff know where anything is in store, and when someone FINALLY interacts with us, it's to accuse us of stealing a cheap, unfinished cabinet? Really? And that was just today's experience. We're remodeling our home, and, unfortunately, have had to spend a lot of time and even more money at this store. I cannot tell you how unfortunate that is, because this store doesn't deserve our business. It doesn't deserve anyone's, to be honest. Whether someone is buying a paintbrush or a furnishing their kitchen with new appliances, it's unfortunate that this store gets the sale.

Absolutely worst experience I have ever had with an order. No communication, delays in shipping, partial order sent (again with no communication), and don't even try to call them or reach a manager there. I ended up cancelling my order and rejecting the partial delivery (felt sorry for the driver as it wasn't his fault).

Don't believe what any of the Home Depot Installation sales reps tell you about their windows/doors "Double Lifetime Warranty." It's simply not true. Labor is not covered beyond 1 year! Look at their contract verbiage below. When I inquired about the discrepancy, this was my reply: "My understanding is the line references our lowest warranty that was available on an American Craftsman window which is 1 year and the others would in essence be an upgrade to it. I can assure you having been with Home Depot in the window installations business for over 8 years now they consistently favor on the side of taking care of the customer including any service concerns and issues." It's b******* because the salespeople will be long gone by the time you file a claim. It's what's in the contract that you sign that matters in the eyes of the law; not a marketing brochure or said in an email. Plygem/Simonton's customer service rep, Mikka, told me that they get lots of complaints from unhappy customers when Home Depot does not honor the warranty. Moreover, they told me HD's (underpaid) subcontractor installers make a lot of mistakes. All confirmed by Simonton's supervisor, Lori Hendershot. The 6500 series window itself is warranted for 20 years and prorated afterwards. This is taken from their contract. Workmanship is only for 1 year! 7. WARRANTY AND LIMITATION ON WARRANTIES: (a) Warranty: Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, Home Depot warrants for 1 year from the completion date that all Services shall (i) be performed with good workmanship and (ii) conform to the requirements of the Agreement. During the warranty period and within a reasonable time after receiving notice from You of a warranty claim, Home Depot may, at its sole option (i) correct or replace each Defect, or (ii) remove each Defect and refund the full purchase price thereof to You; provided, however, that all warranties are voided if (1) anyone other than Home Depot or Service Provider performs work upon or otherwise modifies any materials or Services provided under this Agreement, or (2) You fail to pay Home Depot as provided in this Agreement. (b) Limitation on Warranties: THE WARRANTIES PROVIDED IN THIS AGREEMENT ARE STRICTLY LIMITED TO THE FOREGOING EXPRESS WARRANTIES CONTAINED IN PARAGRAPH 7A, IN THE WARRANTY SECTION OF THE AGREEMENT, IF ANY, OR IN THE STATE SUPPLEMENT, IF ANY. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES ARE MADE OR GIVEN BY HOME DEPOT OR SERVICE PROVIDER, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY FOR FITNESS OF PURPOSE, WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, OR ANY OTHER ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. HOME DEPOT'S EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE VOIDED FOR ANY DEFECT CAUSED BY ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, ACTS OF GOD, LACK OF PRESCRIBED OR STANDARD MAINTENANCE, OR IMPROPER CARE/CLEANING. ANY MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTIES PROVIDED FOR GOODS, MATERIALS, OR EQUIPMENT WILL BE PASSED THROUGH BY HOME DEPOT TO YOU, AND YOU AGREE TO LOOK SOLELY TO SUCH MANUFACTURER FOR REMEDY OF ANY DEFECT IN SUCH GOODS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT. HOME DEPOT MAY ASSIST YOU WITH WARRANTY CLAIMS AGAINST MANUFACTURERS.

I went to Home Depot in Amsterdam this weekend to buy a couple of large tool chests. Once I arrived I realized that my trailer had two soft tires and I felt that it wouldn't be safe to load up and drive home. Two of the employees (Austin Bartone and Steve) went out of their way to make sure that my tires got inflated and that i could load up safely. Then once I had checked out, the person who helped me load up (I think his name was Jimmy) made sure that my tool chests were

Paid the deposit for the measurement and the guy was late. Then he measured and left without asking questions or answering any. Then the install was scheduled. That part was easy and pleasant. But then I never heard from HD about delivery so I called them. An hour later they scheduled for the day before install. Got a dumpster. Scheduled the other projects with my contractor that had to be done after install of floors. Day of delivery i had to take aim unpaid sick day to be home for delivery. Never came! Three hours and 2 phone calls later they never put my order on the truck. More calls. More frustrating conversations. I had to postpone the other jobs and demand a full refund from HD. I have never been so frustrated and disappointed by a professional business before. I will NEVER go to HD or recommend them for anyone. Or anything. EVER.

Needed to return items from an online order. Traveled 45 minutes to the store, loaded the heavy items on a cart and was laughed at at the front desk while the associates did nothing to help and said that their "system" is down and will be down for hours. Will be doing my rest of shopping at Lowe's.

i wish that i could of put 0 stars as this is a terrible company to do business with. i purchased a stainless steel range and refrigerator, from this store on october 1, 2019 and i would like to take this oppotunity to warn any consumer planning to purchase any appliances from this store. do not do it, they have a no return policy, yes its true, no return policy. their appliances are substandard, scraps all over top and top of doors of refrigerator and ticking / buzzing which has to this day not been fixed. i decided 1 week after purchasing that i did not want to go through fighting with this company and i wanted to return the appliances. but to my surprise "a no return policy". what the hell does that mean? worst customer service. i have ever come across. they will not be getting my business ever again. i'm stuck with broken, scrapped up substandard appliances. please do yourself a favor and go somehwere else

I made a sizable purchase that was to be delivered 7/1/19. Followed up with Home Depot several times as they were instructed to call me prior to delivery so they could have access to my garage. I received a different answer from everyone I spoke to indicating that it was already delivered, that someone refused the delivery, that they would deliver up to 8 p.m. The first two were clearly lies and I waited to 8 PM and nothing. Today my contractor show yet no supplies and I continue to wait for answers. Very disappointing.

I am absolutely disgusted with their customer service there. They advertise products they don't carry in the store store. Then refuse to mark down a product that matches with the model number that is a take home today item. So in short if you want to take that product home today and don't want it delivered it'll cost you $70 more. Save yourself the grief and just go to Lowe's. I was in-and-out of there in less than 10 minutes. With the same product at the same price that home Depot was Advertising.
