“The Valley Cottage Animal Hospital is truly exceptional! With February being Dental Cleaning Month, we had both of our dogs undergo their cleaning today, and once again, we were beyond impressed. The level of trust we have in their expertise and guidance for every aspect of our dogs’ health is unmatched. The entire staff is not only highly skilled but also incredibly kind and compassionate.
Patricia Collins, DVM, sets a remarkable standard for both professionalism and generosity. She is always patient with our many questions, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly. She often goes the extra mile— today she helped me take our dogs to the car after their procedures. Afterwards, she ran back outside just to give our “boys” treat bags in celebration of Dental Cleaning Month so we wouldn’t leave without them . Her kindness and dedication truly make all the difference.

They responded to my emails quickly, even following up with phone calls to answer all of my questions. Although Brownie wasn't with us for very long after his visits, the team’s kindness was felt even after his passing, as they sent a heartfelt condolence card. “I want to thank all the staff and especially doctor Christine Asgar for being very professional, compassionate and kind. Our dog Max always got an excellent care. Unfortunately he succumbed to untreatable cancer. Doctor Asgar always called personality to ask how he was doing, and called personally to express her condolences. We got a handwritten sympathy card in mail from all the staff, and it means a lot to dog owners to get that kind of attention.”
“My parents have been bringing their senior dog here (now 13.5, giant german shepherd lab mix at 110 pounds) for around 8 years now, and the genuine, compassionate care that he's received here is incomparable to any other vet we've been to. Dr. Williman knows her stuff, and never recommends anything extra or unnecessary. I have been bringing my own puppy here since I got her and have no plans to go anywhere else with her, regardless of how long I have to travel! Truly the best.”

During a very difficult time, Dr. Rosen and her team were fabulous both professionally and personally. Always supportive and compassionate to us and Augie throughout his treatment. We consider them as part of our family now.”
“Dr Thayer and his staff are caring, attentive and friendly. I have an old cat (19 years) and Dr Thayer considers the whole cat in deciding how to treat her so that she is her best self. They also make sure I understand what is going on with her and that I can follow any instructions he gives me. We also board her and she is always happy to come and stay with them. Thank you”
“I cannot put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Patel and his whole team for their tender care and support of my kitten and I as we navigated her very sudden and aggressive illness. In a time that was very scary and uncertain having the kindness of Dr. Patel to guide me through each step made things feel a bit more possible, and while she didn’t win her battle I have been left with the gift of knowing that truly no stone was left unturned. “I would like to say thank you to the Manor Veterinary Clinic. We saw a pigeon get hit by a car and get a broken wing. I called my veterinarian in Eastchester, but they would not take the pigeon. I was passing Manor Veterinary Clinic, so I stopped in to ask if they would take care of the pigeon. They immediately said yes! They got a box and comfortable bedding for the pigeon. They told me if the pigeon could be saved, they would do their best! I followed up with a phone call and they were glad to speak with me! They informed me that they stitched the pigeon up and are making arrangements to have the pigeon go to a bird sanctuary and continue to heal! I just wanted to share my experience with this clinic. The women at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful and the veterinary team did not think twice to help this pigeon!”

I have a very aggressive and large dog and they so kindly squeezed me in when he started limping. They were extremely patient with both me and my dog Sam. Dr. Kremmerman, Malik, Diana and the front desk staff (I’m so sorry I forgot your names!!!) were absolutely wonderful and made this process so much less stressful. I had been dreading coming in to get the help he needed because of his aggression. I’m so incredibly glad I came. Thank you guys so much from the bottom of my heart!!!

“We called our regular vet in an emergency situation. Over 20 years with them.They told us they didn't have any openings. We called Englewood and they told us to bring our girl right in. The Dr took great care and went into great detail what was going on.With hope the meds would help and return in 5 days to see if any progress was made. Our 9 year old doberman the next morning took a turn for the worse. They were so sympathetic and caring. 100% our future vet.”

“Absolutely the best.Let me start by saying that I’m a crazy person who treats my dog like a human baby. I love her more than anything in the world. She also has terrible teeth, common to her micro-breed. (Little dogs = little teeth = tiniest bit of decay can destroy a tooth in a blink.)Dr. Surgeon and his assistant Maria are AMAZING. The office is small and intimate and so welcoming and warm. The technology they use is state of the art and the doctor even showed me how the various imagining machines worked, and he explained in detail what he saw and what he did. He was so kind and thorough and honestly— I didn’t think they made doctors like this anymore. He’s like someone from a totally different era; so wise and decent. He told me “I still do this because I love the animals” and that’s clearly true.Maria was also so warm and loving to my little dog and I could tell my pup felt truly comfortable and at ease with her. I was so nervous about having my dog’s teeth dealt with but Dr. Surgeon and Maria honestly could not have done more to put my mind completely at ease.DO NOT HESITATE to bring your dog here. And please note, anyone who has left a bad review (go ahead and read them) is complaining solely about money. Well; no, it’s not cheap to have your animal go under anesthesia and have complicated surgical procedures performed. That’s why there’s pet insurance. I’m sorry if it’s going to cost you a lot, but that’s not a reason to blast a truly gifted and deeply caring doctor. No one can possibly have anything bad to say about how their animal was treated here, because it’s impossible to imagine Maria and Dr. Surgeon reacting to any creature with anything less than total professionalism and love. So glad I found them and so happy to be able to return for cleanings in the future.”
