“I've been bringing my vehicles to Transtek for about 17 years. Bob and his team are always pleasant, professional, and, most importantly, honest. Everything is always explained in detail. I've never had the feeling that an "up sell" was taking place such as happens at places like Mavis. The workmanship is always top notch and they stand behind their work. We have moved since we first started going to Transtek, and even though we now live about half hour away we still bring our vehicles to Bob and Transtek. That says it all.”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Not only were they very kind to me when I was having a panic attack about a ruptured brake line they also got me in the next morning. The guys were so kind and they made sure to have a conversation about what they saw with my brake line with me. Additionally, the guys were very patient with my mother and I’s 1000 plus questions about brakes. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone I know! I definitely will be coming back.”

“This post is long over due! Joe and his team are the best. I was having transmission problems and my mechanic had suggested replacement. I found New York Auto Repair while trying to get several quotes on a new transmission before committing. Joe was the only mechanic who asked me to bring it in and see if that was really necessary. Joe took the time to troubleshoot and found the issue was minor and fixed it quickly and saved me from wasting money and time on work not even needed. A year later my engine was making crazy noises and I thought it was blown. Went to a mechanic who was closer to me and he said the engine was gone and I should just sell. I called Joe right away and again he diligently took the time to find a rocker arm had just come loose and again it was fixed fast. Whenever I have a question or concerns about my vehicles I know I can always call. I always feel like a valued customer I think that’s rare these days!! I recommend New York Auto Repair 100%”
“Stopped in bc i had a noise coming from my front end. Found out my brakes were really bad. The last place i took my car to honestly did me dirty and by the looks of it didn’t do their job at all. Kayla ordered my parts right away and they worked on it same day; it was done within 5 hours! I honestly was expecting to leave my car a few days. Mike even brought me back in the garage to show me what exactly was wrong and explained everything to me. Highly recommend them. They’re 110% honest and know what they’re doing - they’re not out to just take your money. Very pleased with my service! I will forever be going back there.”
“Passed by Jimmys credible auto on 9G since moving here from Brooklyn daily and finally needed an inspection and oil change and wife’s car oil change. I didn’t realize the abbreviated hours on Saturday. However, he was gracious enough to take my wife and my Mazda’s and completed both the job within an hour. You can’t ask for more and this will now be my go to repair shop in case we need any repairs. Waiting area was well air-conditioned and Jimmy kept us informed throughout the process. Wish him nothing but continued success but not too much so that I can still get an appointment when I need one. Rich”

“I was looking for a local auto service shop and someone suggested Chickery's. I brought my car in but was told appointments were booked until the next week. This is usually a sign of a good place! Unfortunately, I was going to be traveling and needed some work done before I leave. The owner accommodated my needs and got the work done the next day. The cost for the work was reasonable and the work was professionally done. I will now use Chickery's for my future auto service and repair needs.”

They were the only ones within a 75 mile radius that were glad to work on a bus, after numerous failed attempts at contacting other “heavy duty repair places” who simply said they didn’t work on buses, despite the tires being the same size as a truck.I called up STTC and they were more then willing to help, they were fast, affordable and kept me informed every step of the way.
