“Easily the best post office I’ve ever used. They have a parking lot (!!) and I’ve gotten to know both postmasters and most of the clerks over the past decade. The staff is professional and efficient and even though at busy times it backs up easily (credit a lot of privileged suburbanites who use the USPS all of once a year and equally unprepared college kids from the two local schools), I have always trusted this post office and the excellent service and support they’ve long given me and my business.”

“Katonah postmaster was terrific, I had an issue trying to forward a business address as we moved. Online service was not helpful and she walked me through it and within 10 days or so the business mail started to get delivered, she was patient and so helpful!”

Some of the staff has been here for decades, so people know them, and they know people which makes it a "family post office". “I absolutely love this post office. Is the line long at times? Yes. Can the service seem slow (only one register open with lobby full of 10 patrons) at times? Of course. Let me tell you the staff makes these mishaps seem like nothing to complain about. Julie( who has retired now for about 2 yrs.), Theresan, Dan and even the new gentleman are all so kind and sociable. When I walked in there about a month after having my baby Thersean said "wait a minute I haven't seen you in a while". What a great feeling. Love love love the staff.”

I have to admit the Clerk is So Professional, Friendly, and Warm, & That has been consisting for awhile nowOn top of that, just Recently Clerk#8 went above and beyond to make sure my package got mailed. “This little post office is not equipped to deal with large numbers of people. That said, they do the best they can under the circumstances. There is one exemplary employee-Greg who always remains cool, calm and totally professional. They seem to always pair him with the very worst employees; the ones that get into personal conversations with patrons while 10 people are waiting to be served, or those who just work so slowly that Greg can see 5 people in the same time period. This isn't Mayberry-talk about your hemorrhoid problem on your own time. Overall, high ratings for a small post office trying to do a big job.PS- a fresh coat of paint and maybe new flooring would work wonders in this incredibly drab office.”

“We went in for a passport appointment for my daughter at 10 am. We got there 10 mins early (as recommended when we made the appointment) and they were very friendly and opened up a few minutes early to get started on our application. Unfortunately, there were some issues with our paperwork, but we were able to get them sorted out and still wrapped up by 10:05 am. While reviewing the application, the clerk's communication style was definitely direct (but still felt friendly) and I think helps ensure the review goes efficiently and wraps up on time.”

“I had been battling an issue with my address for several years where the address that is listed on my deed did not coincide with the address in your system. I had gone back and forth between the Town and the Post Office for many years trying to get this issue fixed. On Tuesday September 5, 2023, I went to the Hartsdale Post Office and was greeted cheerfully by the new Postmaster Denise. I explained my issue to her and gave her some documents to substantiate my claim. She told me she would look into it and asked if I could provide her a copy of my deed. The next day I returned with the deed, she updated me with the information she was able to gather so far and rather then send ME back to the Town Hall as all the other managers had done in the pass she went there and met with the Town assessor. On Friday September 8, Denise called and informed me my issue had finally been fixed and added properly in the Postal Service database. I cried tears of joy and couldn't thank her enough. I asked her for the contact information of the highest person in the post office so I could personally give her the praise she deserves but she told me I should use this web address to document my satisfaction. Although I'd much rather had the opportunity to speak with her superior and share my experience. I hope this is shared with she and her superiors and she is recognized for her outstanding customer care. I have to say you can definitely tell this office is under new management. Even the old employees greet you with courtesy and respect. They are helpful with good attitudes. Denise is good for this office. I hope she stays.”

“Generally have had a good experience here - I've never had issues with employees. They're not overly friendly but I would probably be unhappy if I was working there, so I can't really knock anyone for that. I leave my packages there and don't ever really need to stand in lines, more people should just set up stamps.com accounts and they can avoid the hassle of waiting on line at the post office. My packages get picked up and sent.”
