“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I ought to know because I’ve been coming here for 37 years. The lady that was a bad clerk years ago is no longer there because her husband left her and went back to Korea by himself and then she retired. The staff now is very nice and accommodating. I’ve seen many employees even retire at this place through the years , that’s how long I’ve been coming here.I have nothing but good things to say.it’s also a safe place to get my eBay packages delivered. Too many porch pirates ( thieves) in the building I currently reside in .”
“I travel 30 minutes every week to this post office. I prefer going to this one because you will be in and out. The 2 women that work there are wonderful. It’s worth the drive.”
“My staff, friends and I have been to this place many times and that the last time went there was to buy stamps and put in on the envelopes and mail it out. The people that worked there are nice friendly and kind.”
“They are amazing in here ! Most respectable and wonderful human beings working here . Especially John . Best experience I’ve ever had in a post office and I come here almost every week”
“We had an excellent experience at this office. The staff provides outstanding customer service, and the place is nice and clean. Special thanks to Mr. Garry,he is very knowledgeable, professional, and humble. Highly recommended! Thank you guys”
“It's the best place to apply for a passport. I arrived a day before my appointment to pick up a form, and the people there are so kind and polite. The next day, I arrived with my son to apply for his passport, and Jazmin is such a kind person. She helped me with everything and was so patient when taking my son's photo. If I could give her 100 stars, I would.”
“Like others have said, friendliest service I have received in NYC! My clerk was #10 according to my receipt. Before being served she served an incredibly rude lady who made several rudimentary mistakes with her mail and she remained kind and patient (though if it were me I would have allowed her to make the mistakes and receive the package she was sending back at her house…)”
“Most of the employees here are excellent. Most of the time few customers are in this post office and they behave properly. The location is nice and tidy.
These things CAN NOT BE SAID OF 11385, that post office is worse than a zoo.”
“After having spent 25 minutes on a seemingly endless Post Office line on Flatlands Avenue in Brooklyn last week, this branch was a joyous discovery. Easy parking. One person in front of me, waiting for either of two tellers. Prompt, professional, courteous service. How rare.”
“I think this Post Office in Queens offers the best service. The staff is courteous and go above and beyond to make sure your paper work is in order. I had to go there a few times and I was impressed with their service.. I have sent a few people there and they were also impressed with the services. Great job ladies ???”
“The Island Park Post Office is a hidden gem! Every time I go, there’s either no line or just a short wait, which is such a relief compared to the chaos at the Long Beach location. The staff here are friendly, efficient, and go above and beyond to help.
Unlike Long Beach, where even the basics feel like pulling teeth, Island Park actually provided me with tape when I needed it—something so small but incredibly appreciated. It’s clear they value good customer service and keeping things running smoothly.
I would 100% rather take the short drive to Island Park than deal with the frustration of Long Beach. This is how a post office should operate! Highly recommend.”
“I had a person say they did not receive my package from an eBay sale. I contacted this branch to see if they could help. I talked with Tiffany Drake, OMG was she awesome. She took the time to verify the delivery and find me a phone number for the proper local post office to call and verify the delivery. Her patience and persistence allowed me to have the information needed for this situation. Thank You so much Tiffany for your time and assistance today.”
“My sister and I have been to this post office to change the address of the house and that the man behind the window was very nice and friendly helped us out and gave us the correct information.”
“Quality post office that always cares for my packages. I’ve seen countless encounters where customers either bicker about the package pricing and simply waste people’s time. Appreciate your patience and care in the community.”
“EXCELLENT EMPLOYEES THEY HELP U WHIT EVERYTHING U NEED TO POST WHIT THEM THEY ARE DO BEST EMPLOYEES I EVER ? I NO THEY AF A A GOD BLESS BOSS N GOD BLESS HIM ALWAYS”
“I come to drop off packages every once in a while and have had good experiences. My packages arrive to the destination around 3 days after drop off so very standard and professional. The post office is small, but the clerks work very fast to accommodate everyone. I haven't had any issues so far. They have been lovely so far.”
“As a new client to this post office, I was very pleased with the service I received today. I went to this office to apply the passport for my daughter...
Michael is the person who took care of my service. He is very professional and efficient. Most importantly, he is very friendly and accommodating.
I will absolutely recommend this particular branch to people who need passport service.”
“I went here to mail out a birthday card. The supervisor helped me. She was very nice. I bought some stamps as well. I went in the middle of the day and there was less than a minute wait. Will return.”
“Supervisor Tana at the Cedarhurst Post Office is an exemplary employee who provided superb customer service. She was very pleasant and informative, answering all my questions.”
“My experience was amazing! Had passport done for my 11 month daughter with Tony and we were in an out quick! He was super friendly and overall a very pleasant experience.
Weeks later I had to ship something and the blond lady was so helpful. I needed a box and she tried different sizes to help me. My experience again was amazing! From parking to the pace of workers and there services very good job!!”
“By contrast with the main in Sutter Ave, in this branch, the personnel is always helpful, amazing and in good spirits. The kind of people you want in the neighborhood.”
“I have been using this place for several years I believe since they open for business. I have never had an issue and the young man behind the desk has always been professional.”
“I went for a passport renewal. My first time renewing. I did read online how, but still ot 100% sure. The lady there was very helpful and patient. Excellent service”
“Great Post Office! No line which was nice but we went in the middle of the day on a Monday. The clerk was so sweet and helpful and was able to help us with what we needed. Best post office experience I ever had!”
“I used to hate going to this post office and so I went to neighboring smaller locations. Over the past few years it’s become a pleasure. I’m there pretty often and everyone who works there is very nice and efficient. The lines are long on Saturdays so I try to avoid that. They’ve stepped up their team or training.”
“My experience at this post office has always been good. When it comes to serving the community, it is IMPOSSIBLE to please everyone. I never noticed the bad ratings until today. As a postal employee for over 17 years, I felt the need to post a positive review. People have to learn to be patient and give other people grace and understanding. For those that would complain about their mail arriving late, let me break it down for you. If your regular carrier isn't doing the route that day, it is then split up and given to other carriers to do in addition to completing their own routes. FYI: most routes are 5+ hours in the street. For those that would complain about long lines, most of those lines are long because of some unprepared and indecisive customers and not the mail clerk. USPS employees work extremely hard but you wouldn't see that because you only see the clerks seated at the window or the mail carrier pushing the cart, it takes work to move the mail. Be patient, be respectful, and give others grace. A simple "Thank You" would be appreciated instead of a complaint.”
