Hoopes Park is a charming little park with a paved walking path around a pond and benches for relaxing. It is dog-friendly, with stations around the park to discard doggie bags. The park hosts various events, including the popular Art in the Park festival, which features music, vendors, and food trucks. The city also provides free summer concerts, such as the excellent performance by Joe Whiting and his band. Overall, Hoopes Park is a lovely green space for the community to enjoy.
This place always has the best music and fireworks in early July! I believe it’s July 3rd if I’m not mistaken. So many pleasant memories. My favorite music is orchestra and jazz, so the fact that there is still a place that plays this type of music is wonderful. Highly recommend taking the family and enjoying yourselves!
