“Refuge is an amazing place in the Troy community. I've attended events there and rented it to host workshops for my company. It's spacious, warm, clean, and inviting. The energy of the space is...everything.The owner, Tara, is the absolute best. Easy to work with and super creative when designing our experience there. We have even done a photo shoot at Refuge and in the backyard for our company and for a client. The new renovations (including the galaxy mural on the ceiling!) are gorgeous and inspiring. I can't wait to be at Refuge again!”

Choosing Takk made the process something we were able to bond over and enjoy, not stress about. Takk is a beautiful space with so much character and the same is true of the city of Troy. Heidi’s team is so creative and had a ton of options and ideas on design and logistics that made everything unique to us, flow well and stay within our budget. 10/10, no notes! “We used this venue for our annual trivia night at the Arc of Rensselaer County. This venue is beautiful, even the bathrooms are beautiful. The food was fantastic, highly recommend the flatbread pizzas. They set everything up beautifully which was a big timesaver for me. We had one guest who needed gluten free and they really went above and beyond to accommodate that. We will definitely be back! It was fantastic. We appreciate the staff, they worked so hard for us. Also, photos do not do this place justice!”
