Owners Doug & Elaine are wonderful and very accommodating, from coffee outside your room in the morning, to the great breakfast Doug will whip up, the Charlton Farm is truly a BnB experience not to be missed.

Set off the beaten path, this 1892 built Historical Mansion has lots of rooms to explore & enjoy during your stay. From the sitting rooms and parlor to Doug & Elaine's new venture, the Crooked Barn Brewery out back, you can easily spend a day here and feel like you are with old friends. The brewery is getting popular with both locals and BnB guests, they have a Facebook page that shows their offerings, get a flight of beers, and relax in the cozy atmosphere of the Crooked Barn.

We stayed for an overnight, to avoid a long drive back home after a wedding down the road, and The Charlton Farm B&B is now marked for a return visit soon.

“The staff is wonderful. They were warm and welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have old world charm. Please note that there is no elevator in the building but they do have a stair lift chair for those who cannot make it up and down. I highly recommend a stay. Food at the restaurant was very good and offered plentiful portions.”

That weekend I attended 3 weddings and this was the best venue out of the 3.
