assisted me. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was unable to locate the package and I was about to leave. But as I was pulling out, he actually ran outside to let me know it was just coming off of a mail truck they were unloading. He went above and beyond to make sure I was being helped and felt satisfied here. Fred deserves a huge raise!!”

“These are some of the kindest people I have ever met and they have restored my faith in the importance of the human aspect of choosing a mom and pop business. I had my mother ship something from Florida to New York so the baby could have some nice Christmas gifts and the shipment ended up lost, to me, signed for by someone whose address did not match mine. This kind person, realizing it is Christmas time, brought the package to this store where he had been a long time loyal customer to see if they could work it out and get it to the right people. South shore mailroom then tracked down my mom and held it for us to pick up. It was kind and selfless for everyone involved and i am going to find an excuse to use their services. “Let me tell you about this store...It is fantastic!
The other day i stopped at the Massapequa store on Merrick Rd. The only reason I sometimes use that place is for Amazon return drop-offs. It's convenient when I shop in the Plaza. I needed to buy a box to ship something, and the price was $10.49. Ok, thought it was expensive but after I paid for it, they said it was out of stock and refunded me. Then went to my usual UPS in Farmingdale and the same exact box was $4.95.... The counter person couldn't believe it until I showed her my receipts. She explained that UPS stores are independently owned without price regulations. She looked them up and noticed that their shipping rates were on average 15 - 20% higher than the Farmingdale store as well.
They are a total ripoff!!!
I suggest that you do all your business at the Farmingdale store where they have always been honest, friendly and efficient!”

“Always use them when I'm in NY! They make it very convenient to return or drop off packages through UPS. The only downfall is that it's inside Staples so if you don't know UPS is there you won't know to go there.”
“I sent 4 boxes, I was afraid because of the negative comments. But I have to tell you that everything arrived as well as I sent it. The only thing is that two of my boxes were dirty with oil on the outside. I didn't send oil, but apparently some oil was spilled near my boxes and dirty two. Everything arrived very quickly. It only took 17 days.”

“My printer completely died right when I needed to print some things for a bridal shower—and I only had an hour to get it done. I called the FedEx on Sunrise, and the person who answered was so helpful. They gave me an email to send everything over and told me they'd take care of it.
When I got there, everything was printed and ready to go! Super friendly service, really fast, and honestly just a huge relief in a stressful moment. Every time I come to this location, the staff is always helpful and kind. They really go above and beyond.

“I love the convenience and location of this post office. You can easily find parking and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. There are off peak times, when I have been in and out for a few minutes. I’ve gone in and done returns and they even scan QR code so they’re pretty high-tech. Highly recommend this location.”
“The woman at the front was extremely helpful to me. She made sure i had properly filled out my passport paper work and that i had everything I needed. She was extremely patient, helpful and kind. It was about 5 mins to close by the time i left and she was nothing but kind to me.”
“This post office is great . James was super helpful and took his time to help me with my questions and prices . Going to the post office can sometimes be an anxiety inducing process. But this location is very cozy and usually isn’t packed with a line . I’d recommend going to this location if you are in the area for your postal needs. Once again James who was working the front was totally chill.”

“I came here 9/3/24 to apply for my first ever passport. the workers were helpful and attended to me quickly. I paid for regular routine service and received my passport in the mail 9/16/24 (less than 2 weeks non expedited!!) I then received my birth certificate in the mail 9/19/24. this was such an easy and quick process and I appreciate the workers at this post office who helped out!”

“My first visit here was a good one, and when I have a good experience I like to let others know. Especially when most visits to USPS locations are usually not the most pleasant. Not this day at this location though! So let's celebrate, I was in and out in a couple minutes. The lonely gentlemen behind the counter just received a huge order from the customer before but it didn't take long at all(a minute most) and he was helping me with my few pieces of mail and off I went. Very nice...I hope you have a similar experience!”
