“Ellen, the pharmacist at Price Chopper, is a lifesaver. I was flustered because we could not get an important seizure med for my dad. He had been in the hospital for 7 days due to a severe seizure. We were sent home in this medicine but had not been able to get it for over 48 hours. I was worried he would have another seizure. Many other pharmacies were not able to get it. She was able to find some of the medicine and patiently walked me through all the steps needed to have the rx moved over. I am very grateful for her patience and her ability to find this for us.”

“I have been shopping at Hannaford since they opened in Saratoga. There has always been issues with personnel. Maybe it is just my way of thinking, I was brought up believing in manners, respect, etc. I visited the store a week ago, obeyed the face mask rule, also wore disposable gloves, went the correct way up the aisles. I got a bit confused where to stand in line, been recovering from a stroke and 1st time out by myself in 5 months. Cashier sort of sapped at me where to stand. She could have said it in a nicer tone. Then she started to talk, I couldn't hear, front end manager said "less taking, more working." I was shocked, mad and embarrassed for this cashier. It isn't WHAT she said, but how she said it. Went to Target a few days later and none of this snappiness happened. They seemed happy to see me!”

“Italian sub all the way with a pickle on the side! Any of the pasta salads but I usually go to mozzarella/tomato or the pasta salad. The atmosphere is everything here, always welcoming and friendly! I saw another customer who looked unsure so I told him what I always get and he jumped right on board. Missing the Joe’s Tea drinks and hope they do get them back in for next time :)Must try if ever looking for an Italian deli/sub shop in Saratoga!”

It can be a little much for people with anxiety, so just be prepared.Their arancini are really tasty, and their seafood cakes are delicious.”

I called this morning and spoke to Lindsay who was so friendly and pleasant. “Frank, Myra and Darlene were very good to our family. We lived next door to the store for a couple of years a long time ago before their little dog passed away. They make very good food, They have outstanding customer service and they make hot/cold sandwiches. They used to have a family get together on Sunday’s with the cousin Marlene and other family cooking playing dominoes, etc. These people are traditional Latin entrepreneurs. They put family and friends by their hearts. Very genuine family. They fed us food when we were hungry without money.”

“As an avid Aldi lover, I was excited to shop at the newly renovated Ballston Spa location. The stock and design of the store is great!!! My only constructive criticism would be the under staffing at check out. There was only one cashier with a large line of people. With that being said the customer service wasn’t as great as I was hoping for. But overall I will be returning. I am satisfied with my experience.”

“I've been with the Hannaford in Glenville for a very long time, they have been wonderful. Tim, Danielle, Techs are stellar. Coreen not so much. Constant attitude ive tried to kill her with kindness, benefit of the doubt maybe some personsal issues but it's been 2 years nothing changes. She seems miserable which causes unprofesionalism. Literally called to check if scripts were filled one was incorrect left me on hold for 12 mins put the phone down heard everything then hung up on me..Shes not kind. As a pharmacist I cannot comment.”

“I have to tell you how happy my families are to have extended seafood section back!!! They used to have fresh and reasonable seafood when they first opened, but changed into all prepared foods soon after and we had to find other places even though we live so close by. This week, we decided to give a try again for several different type of fish. And they were very very fresh and tasty!Also I just want to point out that Greg (I think he is a new person at the seafood section) was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! He definitely understands people who are picky and selective about only good quality seafood! I can tell even just looking at them. My 16 months boy is also very happy about your seafood! He is a picky eater!Hope to see more variety like more shell fish and omega3 packed small fish like sardines too!Thanks for the great work, Greg!!!”

“I stopped by today again and they had more stuff on the shelves. I got a couple things cookies and these they weren't chips they were shaped like onion rings but they were like cheesy poofs but they were made with Parmesan cheese and a sour starch. My roommate will eat those I will eat the yummy cookies. The person I believe was that the cash register is the owner of the store. And they have the newer system so you can get an email of your receipt which I like. They'll be opening a bakery with for Breads and stuff. It looks nice I can't wait till they have baked goods.”

“Always a good experience at Ballston Spa Hannaford on Trieble Avenue. During the pandemic and now Hannaford has stepped up their game with their app coupons, sales on meat and overall price comparison. Many times the prices are compatible with Aldi. But unlike Aldi you get a lot of services like a knowledgeable butcher or helpful associate. I used to laugh when friends called Hannaford 'Can't Afford'. That moniker no longer fits...:-)”
