“Definitely worth bringing your watch for repairs and battery replacement. I try to replace my wife's watch battery and I ended up knocking off one of minute hands by trying to put on the back cover. So my wife ended up taking 2 watches for battery replacement and repairing the minute hand.
The repair and replacement only took 10 minutes. The watch repair guy was professional quality of service and honest up front pricing. Replaced 2 batteries and fixed the minute hand for all under $20.”

He told me straight up that if it is the battery that he wouldn’t recommend fixing it and it probably makes more sense to buy a new one. I appreciate the honesty. Luckily, it wasn’t the battery, and after tinkering with it for a bit it charged and holds said charge. Highly recommend at least bringing your device here before giving up on it.”

“I came to Mr. Fixsmith looking to fix a headset. A tiny (and I mean really tiny) screw had fallen off and one of the earpieces was dangling hopelessly. Steve took his time to go over his collection of screws to find one that could 1) be the right size, and 2) be possible to insert in a hard-to-reach space between the earpiece and the rest of the headphones. He took his time, found the right screw and manage to tightly secure it. As frustrating as the search for a screw could be, Steve remained very friendly and helpfully answering my questions. It was a pleasure meeting him.
These are the type of repair shops that are woefully needed in Forest Hills (instead of more bank branches and chain coffee shops). The service is very dedicated to the needs of small retail customer which are not met elsewhere. I will definitely return and recommend the store. Thanks!”

“I had a good experience with this company and will use them again. I had an emergency situation with our M630 MF unit, for months we got a maintenance kit low warning, we bought the kit, but was unable to call a tech for assistance to install it, as we had unreliable personnel issues to staff the office due to an employee's family's health problems. Upon the hiring of a new employee, we were finally able to deal with the issue, and AM cooperated in sending someone on an emergent basis due to my concern (not of their making) regarding the maintenance kit. Thank you AM and George (our tech) for knowing what to do.”

“My daughter closed her MacBook on a pen and the screen cracked. The computer wouldn’t turn on. She took it to Apple and they quoted her a price and told her she needed an appointment and would take a week to repair. IFixScreens charged a bit more but I walked right in. They took the computer. Replaced the screen with an original Apple screen and had it back to me in 2 days. Works great. So it’s a bit pricier than Apple but very convenient and they seem to know what they are doing.”
“The tech was fantastic and he deserves 10 stars! Plus ... he was a real person. So refreshing! Sears seems to think they only need one real human for their service calls, and that is the tech. I would recommend to them employing some real humans in their customer service department and providing their customers with a real phone number to dial with which to talk to them. No one likes to talk to a bunch of robots. (Note: the price listed that I paid was only for the diagnosis. The washer required a very expensive repair which the age of the machine did not warrant.”

“great staff, friendly, prices are fair… been here a couple times and they took care of me .. last time i had a issue with a update for ios 18 and my screen went black, i thought it was definitely going to require a new screen but it end up being a short.. repaired it for nothing! So i left a tip.. moral of story.. they could of lied & replaced my screen and charge me a couple hundred.. thats why i always recommend this place to everyone .. hard to find honest people in the world”
