“We got a red toy poodle here when she was 3 months old. Absolutely adorable, price was to be expected for the breed. We were able to make payments until we picked her up. Diana and Nuri were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because upon the first week of having her she had kennel cough which we found out afterwards she may have contracted from her brother. She had an ear infection, parasites and pink eye. So be mindful at that age they aren’t fully vaccinated and this place is a dog day care and grooming so they come in contact with a multitude of dogs. We learned this the hard way. Fast forwards to a month + later. Our Hunny has a clean bill of health and Vanity has a contract with the local vet after purchase where the dog is covered for their first physical and any medications required, which was a blessing straight away for us. We will be back once she is fully vaccinated for grooming purposes.”

“One of the best places to get your pet food. Prices are reasonable. Only issue I have is that they don't carry some of the items I buy from Petco. I wish they can carry Nulo brand of cat food and Sustainably Yours brand of cat litter. If they have those, then it'll be a one stop shop for me.”

Both times we have visited so far, James and Crystal have been SO friendly and helpful, treating us like family already! They recommended the best products for our pup, and didn't try to push anything we didn't need, which we really appreciated. This will be our go to pet shop and groomer going forward, and we can't wait to try the daycare when out pup is old enough. Highly recommend this place, you won't regret it!”

“I was greeted with a staff member dance challenge which I engaged and it left me with a smile and happiness. As a person of color when entering certain spaces there is an innate tension that ‘this will be THAT day’, so having a welcoming staff eliminates that concern and makes shopping an enjoyable experience. Perhaps sharing a love of pets helps remind people to lead in kindness. My Grandpupee’ (pu-pay) Huey was the recipient of those feelings with a much more generous budget.

Walked in.... and was immediately greeted by a cheerful young lady who walked me to exactly what I needed, and then walked me up front and checked me out with a smile.

“The critters in this store are well cared for, happy and healthy.Mark...the owner never minds when we come to look at his collection. He is very patient.Many years ago we bought a fish tank and some community tropical fish.I think he even does children's birthday parties too.Needless to say...it's a little noisy in there...but that is part of the fun.”

“This wonderful grooming establishment always does a great job with my two doggies. This is quite literally the best haircut they have ever gotten in their lives. I fully trust their groomer to clean them up and give them whichever haircut is best for them. She always does a wonderful job. My doggies are always happy and energetic when I get them back. Everything being done to the doggies can be seen right from the lobby, which also has a multitude of healthy dog treats and food, as well as cute clothing. I absolutely love the hairstyle that was chosen for them this time around. Best grooming in town by far. They even gave my doggies little pigtails and bow ties.”

“Been coming to woofer wash for over a year with my two dogs. I think tub size is great all supplies are fresh and clean. The manager working there is incredibly sweet and helpful. Its a really nice place to wash your dog and dry them. Im glad i found thrm.”

“Absolutely 100% legit place. We text Amanda and she was absolutely amazing! Not pushy at all. She sent us a bunch of beautiful pugs until we found the right one. I was definitely concerned and worried since we weren't unable to see the dog in person before picking her up. We received a bunch of photos and a video of my sweet pup. The process was very quick and setup great. We had to watch a video and take a test before getting our puppy which I was honestly impressed by. I figured if they made you do all this I'd be shocked if it was a scam. I received a ton of texts from Amanda with constant updates and we even got to pick up the dog earlier than I expected. The price was definitely the best out there considering how expensive dogs are nowadays. When I was handed my puppy I was given all the paperwork and necessary info and stuff needed to get her setup and started with all her shots. She came immaculate, clean no bugs, no cough, no issues, was given 100% clean bill of health. She is now 5 months old and we couldn't be happier with our experience and with the dog we picked. We can't wait to get another one lol. Definitely the right place to go and you will not be disappointed. Trust me we wanted to see the dog before getting her and we weren't able to BUT I did go into several puppy stores and my dog was way better taken care of, we got more out of our sale, and a way better dog and price. I would recommend everybody buying from Best Puppies. You won't be disappointed.”

“Owner is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly! He is a legitimate reptile lover! He was also extremely patient with me and answered all of my questions. The reptiles here are very well taken care of. I had purchased a crested gecko from them around a year ago and he hasn't shown any signs of illness, has a great appetite, and is full of energy! This place also has a pleathora of feeder insects and rodents. Truly a one-stop shop for all reptile enthusiasts or for anyone looking to get into the hobby!”

“I have been buying from this store since it's inception... The friendly staff is knowledgeable about the merchandise and high end dog food. Miriam the groomer is wonderful, she treats my corgi with love and the cost is comparable . I needed a leash and harness for my Corgi who is difficult to fit. Sean ( the owner) immediately assisted me and presented a set that fit perfectly. So if you aren't happy with the prices I suggest that you try PetCo. Renting a store in BayTerrace is extremely expensive probably equivalent to Manhattan rates. I don't mind paying a little more for the customer service and quality merchandise. Thanks Sean! She took the time to let my dog warm up to her and was understanding about my dog’s difficult personality. She communicated with me about timing to minimize time spent in the cage. “Update: manager reached out to me for corrections. They did an excellent job.
Note that I’m a regular customer here and I always tip 25%-30% for the past year.
I told them that my dog’s haircut was uneven but they didn’t offer to correct this mistake. Take a look at the picture ?. This is absolutely crazy for a haircut mistake on a regular customer.
I also clearly booked grooming for my golden retriever but they didn’t even ask me what I wanted when I brought her in. They immediately started working on the golden and failed to communicate with me. Now, I need to find a different groomer to actually cut their hair.”
