“I’ve had two really fantastic experiences at Willis that I wanted to share. First, I went into buy a more expensive 4 x 4 truck. The gentleman working there shared the difference in battery battery type and that it automatically reduced its charge to 50% after two days, and while it was a faster truck, it probably wasn’t the right thing for my seven year old son. And that if I ever wanted to, I could upgrade the electronics for $100 which equaled the performance and price increase. He helped me save $100 and end up with the right product. Cut to 3 1/2 months later, we had really enjoyed the truck, but it was no longer going forward or backwards. I carried the truck, the remote, and the batteries in and within two minutes he was looking at it on the table. I was lucky that there wasn’t a big crowd in the store, so he took out another motor, tested the battery, and saw that it was likely the motor that was the issue. He worked on it concurrently while helping other customers, and in 20 minutes he had installed another motor into, my truck, and when I asked, how much did I owe him, he said, don’t worry about it. I think we take for granted that it’s easier to buy things online, but it’s moments like these when I’m reminded why we have local hobby shops. I’m a loyal customer at this point and a raving fan. I expect you will be too.”

“No weekend is complete without a run to 5 Below. It's always for something that's needed like a phone charger cord and then I wind up seeing so many other things that I feel like I must have. This location is usually pretty well stocked and the staff is friendly. Every once in a while they're short handed up front but they seem to make it work. On this trip I got pillows and a throw for my guest bedroom because they were super cute and affordable. I also bought another bookcase/organizer because I used one of theirs for my pop up shop set up and it works really great. Even though some things are more than $5 most of my items were actually $5. If you have a very small child, I'm warning you they have lots of cute toys and a lot of candy especially near the checkout so either prep them before you go in or don't bring them.”

“Excellent customer service! I ordered online for a store pick up and when I got there, I was helped or spoken to by three employees. One told me that someone will be with me shortly, one started the laminating machine for me, & the third one just simply told me no worries about something I mentioned. I usually have anxieties around back to school time and having to deal with lines can make me feel worse. This time, completely opposite of what I used to experience. I might go back soon just to use the laminating machine.”
