“My father is a disabled Vietnam Veteran and uses a walker to help him get around. A screw fell out and it was unstable and unsafe for him to use. I took the walker to the hardware store to see if they would be able to help me replace the screw. I was greeted with a happy hello and asked what I needed help with. A lovely employee named Christina took the walker placed it on the counter and installed the screw for me herself for me. I was so grateful that she was able to help us with this situation. We shop here for all our home improvement needs and recommend this store to anyone who wants a friendly…helpful …attentive staff who goes out of their way to make sure you leave with what was needed”

I had a wonderful experience working with Cathy while choosing paint and supplies for my basement. She took the time to help me select just the right shade of gray, and she didn’t stop there. She also made sure I had the correct rollers, handles, and other accessories I would need to get the job done properly.
What impressed me most, though, was Cathy herself. Her personality was truly above and beyond. She was knowledgeable, patient, genuinely helpful, and had an infectious smile that made the entire experience enjoyable. You never felt rushed or like you were simply another customer. She made you feel as though helping you get everything right actually mattered to her.
Employees like Cathy are the reason people remember a store and choose to come back.
Brinkmann’s Glen Cove has an absolute gem in Cathy. Outstanding customer service, great knowledge, and an attitude that represents exactly what customer service should be.

The prices are very reasonable, and if you’re a member, you get access to the best deals. They also have weekly special offers, and the staff is always professional and courteous. The best part, though, is their 90-day return policy. I’d much rather support this store than any big chain.”
“Great “hometown” hardware store. Very clean & well laid out. Staff have helped me multiple times with advice on home projects & finding things in store.
Prices are on par with big box retailers. Will definitely continue coming here, even if it’s for a simple key cut.
*Only advice to others, don’t expect to find on street parking because they’re located on a busy road/intersection. I found theres a public lot right near the store within a block or so. Problem solved

I told him what we needed and he immediately dropped what he was doing and directed me to where the part could be found. You don't see this sort of thing at, shall we say, the giant orange store.”

“As a female walking in to this store with no idea of the paint industry the staff was very supportive and helpful in assisting me with picking out a bathroom paint. They gave me a few swatches to look at and some recommendation. I did not feel pressured in picking a color the same day. I returned the next day with my choice and they were just as helpful as the day prior. The quality of the pain is great!”
