The beds are excellent, and the house is surprisingly quiet, despite being full. The hosts are attentive and friendly, and the homemade breakfast is superb, using local ingredients. Nestled in the heart of Beacon, just a few minutes from the town center, the Chrystie House is rich in culture and surrounded by the sounds of nature. Each room is filled with its own whimsy and detailed decor, courtesy of the talented artist owners. The house is well-preserved, and guests feel transported in time, with the sounds of crickets lulling them to sleep and the sunlight filtering through the drapes in the morning. The Chrystie House is a truly remarkable and magical place, offering an unparalleled and extraordinary stay for guests who appreciate history, art, and exceptional hospitality.
I stayed here for four days and couldn’t have been better taken care of by Lynn, who has owned and operated Chrystie House for over a decade! Loved the homemade croissants and quiche every morning for breakfast, and the piano serenade each evening. Rooms are lovely, well kept, and clean!
