“I have recently needed to visit the beacon post office. On my 1st visit on Saturday 11/5/22 we had an excellent experience with the clerk who helped my wife complete a transaction for a passport. The clerk was patient, helpful and professional! Today, 11/8/22, I had to return for my passport appointment. Again... but with different employees, I was left amazed by the clerks professional and helpful demeanor. Gus called out another employee to help me with my appointment. The clerk who helped me was amazing, kind, Personable and thorough. Every service oriented agency should be taking lessons from these employees . Amazing experience, keep up the great work!”

“The Garrison NY USPS office is the best postal experience I have ever had. Rachel and the rest of the team are friendly and knowledgable. During busy times, and even during this incredibly stressful quarantine, I can always rely on the post office to help me out. They are just simply fantastic. A real plus to the Garrison community, so THANK YOU!”

“Always drove past it and never realized it was a full post office inside the mart. Very friendly staff, covers all services that a post office would cover, except passports.”

“My experience at the Cornwall Post Office was very interesting. Let me just start out by saying that I was able to more than accomplish what I had set out to do. I went to the Cornwall Post Office purely to make an appointment to update my passport. After working my phone, and going on the Internet, it was so frustrating just trying to make an appointment that I drove the 2 and a 1/2 miles to the Post Office. When I got there I was told I had to make an appointment online and after trying to do that again, I was told that the mail clerk whose name I believe was Ms Griffith, was going to help me with the process. I was grateful. What I can say is that we were able to get my passport sent out for renewal, which was ultimately my main goal. While I was not actually disrespected fully, the line was toed very closely. Many times I felt like I was being treated like a recalcitrant child because I did not understand the process and instead of explaining it to me I was just helped along with every step, questions were not appreciated. I wasn't really upset with the way I was being spoken to because I was getting the job done and she was helping me every step of the way. By the time we were nearing the end of the process I just started laughing because of the way this was going down. It got to the point where I think she realized how she was speaking to me because she became much more animated (instead of exasperated) in the way she was showing me what needed to be put into the envelope and mailed out to the government. She treated me like a child but I did not care because she was making it idiot proof. We got the job done and I left smiling about the whole thing. I would like to thank Ms. Griffith for helping me so comprehensively and I would also like to thank Dan who tries to keep a light hearted atmosphere in that little post office. Is this a good review or a bad? It's up to you, but let me just say this Post Office knows their stuff and I WOULD go back there with no reservation.”

“I have a post office box at the United States Postal Service in my area. It's inexpensive. You have a choice on how you want to pay for your box. You can pay once a year or twice a year like I do. I pay once every 6 months.”

“New Windsor post office is the best local post office I’ve ever encountered. The delivery people are friendly, the post office employees are very kind and willing to work with you, and they are able to adjust during extenuating circumstances. I’ve been waiting for over two weeks for my package to leave IL, and I received it less than two hours after New Windsor post office received it from the area distribution center. Can’t thank them enough for their impeccable service”
