I had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Heinz, owner of Minuteman Press, and her talented graphic designer Carrie Durand during one of the most difficult times of my life. I live in the Southwest and had no idea that a family member would pass away unexpectedly. Suddenly, I was tasked with planning a funeral and creating the program, obituary, and thank-you cards — all from afar.
After finding Minuteman Press through a Google search, Amanda and Carrie immediately stepped in to help bring my ideas to life. There were moments when I was completely at a loss for what to do, but they patiently guided me through every detail — from paper choices and fonts to wording and layout.
They approached my situation with professionalism, compassion, and genuine kindness. On days when I broke down in tears, these two incredible women surrounded me with support. The final product wasn’t just good — it was exceptional. It brought me to tears. When I needed additional items at the last minute, they worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect.
Though it has taken me seven months to write this review, I wanted Amanda and Carrie to know they were truly my lifesavers. This is not just a printing business — they helped bring my loved one’s memory to life. My family and I are forever grateful for Minuteman Press of Wappingers Falls. “Markus is absolutely awesome! Went there for a pretty basic design. Markus is a seriously interesting guy. He delivered way in advance. Not often you get to meet true artisans or people who care about what they do. I can install this graphic myself, but I will happily pay Markus to install this for me. You cannot go wrong with hiring Raghaus. Just a true professional. Do it!!!”
“I recently won an item from an online-hybrid auction. The auction house itself doesn't offer shipping for most items, but they provided a list of companies that will secure and ship the lot. Newburgh was on that list, so I reached out for a quote. Tina got back to me within one business day.
It wasn't cheap, but once you factor in the time it takes for them to travel to the auction house, secure the lot, package it, and then actual shipping costs, it's really quite reasonable. They certainly did not skimp on the bubble wrap, either. They obviously weren't taking any chances that FedEx would handle with care.
Turnaround time was quick. I recommend this company!”

“The FedEx is in in Walmart, and does get busy. But the employees are courteous and do their best to speed up. Desiree is an associate working here and she is very helpful. She was managing some of the disgruntled customers who were not happy with fedex prices for overnight shipping with a smile. Not her fault. The location also has printers for printing and is stocked with supplies. Highly recommend this location.”
