“We were on vacation and unfortunately we hit a deer near his shop. Due to the condition of the car we were not able to drive home. The shop was closed but they took me in to have a look at the car, they made some adjustments to the damaged front fender and wheel well. This got us back on the road so we continue our journey back home. All this was done out of the kindness of the owners heart. Honesty , trustworthy and kind. If I lived in the area, this is the place I would go for all my vehicle repairs. I can’t thank you enough and I didn’t even get It name. You are an Angel and we are so very appreciative of your kindness in our moment of need.”

“The moment you stop bowing to the will of certain dealerships they resort to unsavory tactics. I get being a pushy car salesman, but it is a conscious choice to be unhelpful at your job. Not too pleased with this dealership in particular.”

“Their prices are unbeatable and the staff go so far above and beyond what is even expected. They got our car up and running after we truly thought our vacation was ruined but Mavis was there and showed amazing work and customer service!”

“I've been going to J&Ts Auto Cafe for 20 years. They are honest, fair, and they do a great job, every time, on every auto maintenance need. And, sometimes you get to talk with Tommy! Great local business. Highly recommend. They also sell flowers!”

“I'm from PA. I was at Watkins Glen International Raceway for two days of track. After my sessions Monday, I just left when I noticed my low tire pressure warning was on. I pulled over to look and as soon as I got out of my car I saw the left rear was really low. Long story short I found these guys. They were closed, as it was after 7 o'clock. I saw a garage door open on the second building so I walked there . Gordon, John, and Matt were wondering on their TA2 race car. They were extremely nice and helpful. They were able to get an exact replacement for my tire the next day! Unfortunately I missed Tuesdays track sessions, but meeting these guys and having them treat me as they did was a true blessing! I can not brag about them enough. I wish there were more guys\businesses like them.”

“Just how we imagined our wedding day- matching bride and groom flat tires. As our PSI and hopes dropped we found Maynard’s. Their service, knowledge, generosity and kindness was unmatched. We hit two other stops before finding this spot and no one could help us solve our problem. Thank you for helping get us back on the road and make it on time to our rehearsal dinner. True lifesavers! This is THE place to go- kind, dependable, helpful, experts!”

“I'm so thankful I stopped at this shop. The owners were absolutely fabulous and they checked my car thoroughly and without hesitation and w reasonable prices. I couldn't ask for better service and repair. They took the time to listen and advised. Carla is wonderful, she even brought me home so I wouldn't have to wait and then picked me up when car was ready. ❤ Next up...new tires and inspection. Thank you to this family owned business and I highly recommend for your auto needs❤”

“I have been to this location a handful of times with my company truck. I am a DIY guy with my own vehicles, this location always provides fast service. No BS upsells just right to business and only recommend services that are needed. I recommend this facility to everyone that does not work on their own vehicles. Keep up the great service!!”

“I had a great experience today at Simmons and Rockwell Nissan dealership. I went in there with an issue that has been ongoing for a few months and did not feel safe driving the car. I took the car to a Nissan dealership in Sayre Pennsylvania and they said there was nothing wrong with the car and I got charged 190 plus tax for the diagnostic. I take my car to Simmons and Rockwell and I get a veteran technician that takes the car out for a drive and figured out the problem without ever hooking it up to a diagnostic machine. The problem was resolved within about 45 minutes. Had the car back after an hour and back on the road. It was also nice to hear one of the service technicians talking to a customer on a phone and telling them that they do not need new brakes but down the road you will need new brakes and here is a Price quote when it's time. A lot of service shops would have charged that person for new breaks that they didn't need. Thank you so much to the service department at Nissan Simmons in Rockwell five stars all the way. I will gladly drive two horseheads or have to have my vehicle towed for that type of service versus going to the Nissan dealership here in the valley.”

“From the start Nick was great. Honest courteous and very easy to deal with. Hard to find a honest dealership that keeps their word. My 2020 Gt500 is coming home. Thank you!”

“Seems like every once in a while you're lucky enough to come across a really good auto mechanic who's not only knowledgeable but has a good heart and isn't trying to gouge his customers. Bart is that mechanic. I highly recommend this place”

“Lattimer's Garage is actually Andy's Garage. Don't judge a shop by how it looks. If Andy doesn't have the experience or tools to fix something, he knows someone who will help. He put our car on his lift so he and my husband could have a look at the problem. We went on our way with our car and, while we waited for the part to arrive, Andy found someone to help us. He took us there the next day. Steve fixed the problem and we continued on our trip with a safer car. Thank you Andy and Steve!”

“I needed some maintenance completed on my vehicle, as well as an inspection. Chad, owner of Lakeside Automotive, got my vehicle in within a couple of days of me calling for an appointment. He did the preventative maintenance and let me know he had found an issue that might not pass inspection. He went above and beyond what ANY mechanic has done for me and charged a fair amount. I highly recommend Lakeside Automotive.”
940 Chemung St # A, Horseheads NY 14845
“He did great work at a great price. While some places are charging over $100 per hour, his posted rate is $85. The guy is honest as the day is long. Also, he's a really nice guy too. I asked him why he works the hours that he does and he said that his wife works second shift and he gets to spend more time with her if he works the same hours. That alone tells me that he's good guy who loves his wife. I highly recommend this guy. I've been to him more than once. I wanted to see if my initial experience was the norm or not. Every experience was the same. He was courteous, professional and quick. He will definitely get all of my business. I'd give him 6 stars if I could.”

“I just moved from Florida recently where I’ve gone to firestone plenty of times and had my oil changed where I had to wait 2+ hours. I went here thinking the same would happen and I got twice as much done in an hour and the employees were very kind!! Would definitely recommend this location”

“I cannot say enough good things about this company. From start to finish, they made what could have been a very stressful experience so much easier. They kept me informed every step of the way, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and were incredibly patient whenever I had questions or concerns. What stood out to me the most was how much they genuinely cared—not just about fixing my car, but about my safety and making sure the job was done right. You can tell they take pride in their work and value the trust their customers place in them. The attention to detail and commitment to quality gave me complete peace of mind. It’s rare to find a company that combines professionalism, honesty, and compassion the way they do. I am beyond grateful for their help and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service and people who truly care about their customers.”

“I drove down from Canada for a family emergency, and while nearly at Horseheads heard a loud noise under my car. I took it to a Volkswagen dealer in Ithaca and after explaining that I could only stay one week, said they could not touch it for 2 weeks and would cost me $200.00 just to look at it. Family recommended Gardner Auto Repair and I brought it there. Tracey and his wife were so great, understanding my situation. My car was repaired the next day, and for 1/4 the price of the dealer. I cannot say enough about this business and highly recommend them for any repairs you may have.”

“Outstanding customer service trackside at Watkins Glen! Skyler was kind enough to scan some codes that came up on my car gratis, and gave me an excellent price for rotating my tires at the end of the day. Highly recommended!”

“I can’t say enough about the quality of service at this Cummins dealer. In fact, I think it’s the best Cummins dealer within 500 miles of our Catskill home. We own a class A rv and this dealership went above and beyond to get my hydraulics working in short order. Tristan was an absolute delight and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this dealership.”
