“Disclaimer: George did not work on my 2014 Jetta. He DID however correctly diagnose a faulty AC compressor making a very subtle but noticeable grinding sound that two other pretty well reviewed mechanics who i knew for years didn't catch. I was so frustrated I swore to sell the Jetta if George couldn't find the problem. George identified the sound pretty much immediately and told me I could wait if I wanted, which was a relief because my budget is tight rn. He was super smart, pleasant, helpful and honest and I will be bringing my Jetta back for the compressor and anything else. I've already recommended this shop to everyone I know in the area.”

“So I got an older 2002 Taurus I inherited from my wife's uncle. Turns out the reason that I got a flat from a stick driving down a paved asphalt road to do a funeral was because the tire had been patched multiple times before and was super weak. So I get a recommendation from one of the ministers of consolation at St. Gregory's that this is "the spot" if you have car trouble. Drove it in at 11, Juan saw me, told me he'd get the tire in at 3:30-4, had it on and installed by about 4pm, and when I pull out, what do you know, but the car drives better? I just wanted the tire replaced. It's like going to a doctor for a cold and you leave 10 years younger with a six-pack. Being that I don't know the relative value of a tire, parts and labor, and all that, it may very well have been the case that I paid for it without realizing it, but due to the fluctuating prices I would assume are true for most car parts, what I will say is the price I paid seemed ok for a tire, and I was impressed with also having my car's general ability to traverse down a road improved.”
