The woman that waited on me and the woman shadowing her (supervisor ?) were extremely unfriendly - and the woman at the passport window that chimed in unnecessarily was also rude.I greeted the woman at the window - said good morning and politely asked about mailing a letter & getting a receipt. Pretty simple. There was not a smile, no warm greeting from the woman at the counter or the woman shadowing her.I didn’t want to spend 10 bucks or send certified mail & she offered no other options so I said I would go to the automated machine in the entrance. I actually wanted to use the internet & found out that you can request a certificate of mailing. That information was not given to me at the window - so then I went back in and again, politely, asked for two certificates (about a dollar each). Filled them out & returned to the window & the “supervisor” sarcastically said “what happened to the automated” it’s like she was looking to start but she had the audacity to tell me that I had “bad energy” and that I “came in like a storm”..categorically false.As the customer, its my job to be polite & courteous & I was. It is the job of the paid customer service rep & her supervisor to be friendly & helpful & they were not.I have made many visits to that post office without incident but will never return.If there are cameras - maybe a review should be made by the postmaster to see what the customer sees when they are greeted by very unfriendly faces.

Came here to do passport. Alma is very rude, she was annoyed once she found out we were here for an passport appointment. She rolled her eyes after the other lady told her I'm not doing this one because I just did a passport appointment. They seem like they don't want to work because they were pushing it back and forth to each other. She was very rude throughout the process and taking a personal call while doing the application. She has is waiting for her to finish her phone call in order to proceed. She was very annoyed that she had to do another money order. Management needs to step up with their staff training.

Rude supervisor. I had a complicated situation where I was picking up a package for a friend that use to live in bellmore and now moved to Florida. It was a package that needed to be signed. I technically was not taking the package. I was simply going to forward it to the address in Florida. The Rude supervisor Allison was not trying to hear me. First she did say have them send his ID so my friend did. Thr address on his license didn't show thr address written on the package however his fiance did but she didn't know that because she was too busy being rude and would not listen to anything I said. So she said to me that your story didn't add up and I was like what story? It's the truth. Me Remaining calm even though I didn't want to, she was line I don't want to hear it your friend has to fly up here to get the package and walked off. This supervisor was rude from the start and has 0 manors. She's an older lady and would think that she was taught in life its ok to nice . If you dont like your job then go to another field!

They are lazy and useless. They told me the wrong information about how to obtain a passport at that location for my 17 month old daughter. They said I didn't need to make an appointment and when I got there they said I needed to have one. With not one person on line they still didn't extend any professionalism and take the photo anyway. If I was the right ethnicity maybe I would have gotten different treatment. This I why I pay such high taxes, to get treated like garbage. I give 0 stars!y

Very rude and lazy staff. Also make fun of customers right in front of them. Went to East Meadow and got helped right away. Wonderful staff there.

Terrible customer service. A piece of tape was needed for a small bag to ship, the workers response to my husband was “we sell tape”. I have gone to the post office in north bellmore my entire 35 years living here, never once was charged for a roll of tape when needing one piece of tape. It’s more convenient to go to this post office but I never will again.

Made an appointment to get my passport done and had to take time off work to do so. Specifically chose this post office because they did the pictures also. One would think they should know to ask me to take my glasses off (I didn't because I've never had a passport before). Just got an email from the state department telling me I need to send a new picture without glasses, so now I have to return to the post office to get it done again.I also had to wait 40 minutes past my appointment time, and was there 20 minutes early. Not a well run office at all.

I am appalled at how unprofessional and rude they are in this office. The supervisor Michael was extremely nasty to me after waiting almost two weeks for my mail, which was miss delivered by their post man. & as the kind and patient individual I am I waited day after day for them to tell me the same thing. He said it wasn’t their fault but it was & I was not the only one with a complaint. There is no excuses for their behavior and how they are handling things they are at fault for. And as for Micheal he is a grown man talking to a young female like she’s trash, and that’s a shame. He should not be a supervisor. Do your job and do it right, and have some respect for people or work from home if you can’t be professional and respectful.

If I could give this Post Office zero stars I would. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade and I have never encountered such unprofessionalism in my life. I don’t know who this worker was but her name is Allison and I was explaining the situation to her that my package has been missing and I have been dealing with this for weeks and she immediately was rolling her eyes and repeating herself and not addressing my questions when I was being very pleasant. She told me what the course of action would be and because they have not followed through on anything up until this point all I was asking is what I should do if I don’t hear from anybody on Monday and she said I was not listening and paying attention to her at which point she is yelling now because I told her that she was being very rude and I walked away because I did not want to stoop to her level of conduct and she was still yelling at me telling me that I was not listening and paying attention. I’m going to look into filing a complaint against her because she should not be working with the public with such little self-control poise and dignity. Once again her name is Allison and she is disgusting.
