“Awesome food precooked from Kosher Meats yesterday. My daughter and I stumbled in while shopping in the center by accident. It was fate. There were meal deals in the window. 2 BBQ chickens, sides, soup pudding at a reasonable price and so delicious! Even my Jewish Mother-in-law loved it! Rugelach is my favorite!”

We would be hard pressed to get the quality of food at any restaurant.Caesar salad with homemade croutons,Lobster Bisque (quart)Jumbo shrimp cocktail (side of small lobster tails)2 Filet Mignon (my wife added slices of Tony’s bacon)4 twice backed potato’sCream spinach (cheesy and delish)Grilled jumbo asparagus2 glass cups of tiramisu (or other choices)$140 we had 2 Meals out of it.The filet was the best part but everything was amazing!Tony’s is our goto for prepared food to heat and eat at home and for the tenderist of steaks. “My 1st time at the store & restaurant. Both are clean & tidy & Halal. Halal meat is always fresh, they cannot sell meat from a sick animal as they carry the burden of sins. Great customer service. The food is delicious, not spicy hot. I had ginger chicken & okra.The butcher cut the meat as I asked. This will be my go to butcher & takeout once I'm at the butcher. Give it a try.”

“The roast beef here is amazing! Hands down the best and freshest roast beef sandwich I've ever had! Super nice and friendly staff too!They lost 2 stars because when I ordered rice pudding I found the rice was crunchy and undercooked but the taste was delicious. They gained a star back because when I let them know about it they apologized profusely and gave me my money back even though I didn't ask for it and I wasn't expecting it. I just wanted to let them know so they were aware and they could cook it throughly whenever the next batch was made.”

“Live poultry dressed to your preference, with a fairly wide choice of pulley variety, right here on the island! Was not crowded when I went on a Saturday afternoon, was in and out in 15 minutes. Came here to buy chicken, left with duck and chicken eggs around with dressed poultry.We have been coming to Safety Swim around the block for many years without being aware of this hidden gem.They do mind taking photographs / videos, but are otherwise polite, professional, efficient.”

“I came here for fresh meats based off a recommendation from a friend and now I can't live without this place! I ordered a pork shoulder (pernil) and asked them to season it. They season it soooo well that my Latino friends think I made it. The fresh scent of seasonings permeated through my car on the ride home, and that's when I knew I would be a returning customer! Thus, all you have to do it pop it in the oven! Ive also had their marinated chicken (raw) and I just cooked it in the air fryer. If you are looking for a quality butcher and are "street savy" enough to go to Hempstead, this is the place. They also sell oxtails, ribs, pig feet (if that's what you are into) and fresh thick bacon.”

“Fairly priced produce (well except for the berries) good selection of meats, prepared foods, and Italian products. Its my replacement for Best Market since they were replaced by Lidl, though the prices are not quite as good. It definitely has a loyal clientele, worth checking out.”
