Very nice apartments each room is very spacious and has a good location in downtown Binghamton. Maintenance comes quick and the front desk workers are always available and very helpful.

I've lived here for two years and if I weren't graduating I'd definitely stay longer! The rooms are very nice and spacious, the management is always very pleasant and easy to deal with, and the maintenance crew is always helpful and quick to arrive for anything. I always say this is the best out of any student-living option in Binghamton and for anyone who wants to live in a nice building that has many amenities and is in a great location, I always recommend ChenangoPlace!

I do agree with everyone else around here about management being very well-trained in snatching money out of your deposit for minute things. Avoid at all cost

My apartment is nice but there have been so many issues with management and the building that I wish I could end my lease early. Do not live here it’s not worth it. There isn’t even anywhere to park.

Jessica is the absolute worst. She should absolutely not be trusted. As a word of advise , please take pictures of your room before you leave, otherwise like me you will be charged for things that are unwarranted.Do yourself a favor choose somewhere else to live.

The rooms at Chenango place are nice, but the positives of living here end right there.Management is dishonest and untrustworthy. Many residents complain of having their mail disappear. Many residents, including myself, have had many bats in their room, yes bats, flying around for days. Management dismisses concerns and doesn’t do anything preventative. Also, if you’re expecting your whole security deposit back, keep dreaming. I certainly did not, despite leaving my room spotless, and I know many other residents have the same issue.Bottom line, if you’re thinking about living here or having your children stay here - don’t. Unless of course you enjoy managerial dishonesty and bats flying around your room for days on end.

Management gets 1 star. Building itself gets 3 stars. The place could be great if they hired management staff that won’t steal your mail and take advantage of the money for your security deposit. Not to mention the problem residents have of “losing” items/cash while on breaks from their apartments....when the only person allowed in a room is Jessica, the manager. They call this student living place safe but I know there have been bats that they don’t call animal control for (and that have bitten residents) and they refused to fix the back door for months (meaning anyone off the street could just walk in, they would). Binghamton is a sketchy area, so if you’re looking for a safe and trustworthy place for yourself/your child, this isn’t it.

Only thing worse than Covid is Jessica. Dishonest and condescending. I implore the owner of the building to rehire.

Struggling to review this place because it is the weirdest place I've ever lived. The entire building is literally so slanted your eggs will roll to one side of a pan. Also you may have to walk a mile just to get into the building because they refuse to allow key access to the side doors. But its also right next to Boscov's so you're in the best possible place you can be. AND you have Ricky who is the best. He's always around and being helpful and lending you ladders and wants to hear about your life. Ricky is the reason I'm not voting 3 stars.

Lived here during the summer for an internship I had the area. The space is fantastic, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the onsite amenities are great.
