Decent store with a decent selection, it's small but if you want a big store you have to get on the #57 and head to Vestal Walmart, it may not be worth it to you. They have ice in 10-lb bags at the front of the store, lobsters in salt water tanks at the back and everything in between. Self checkout and cashier checkout, there is also a Chinese restaurant adjacent and accessible from inside the store and outside.

It's good for what it is. Shop the bargains to win. Many staples I want I can get significantly cheaper elsewhere

The tall employee with the long hair is one of the coolest people i know. Everyone should make the trip to go see Joe personally he loves helping people. He'd probably change your tire and take your garbage out after his shift if you ask. Great guy, and you can't miss him because he's a giant.

I went to Weis for the first time in over twenty years on Binghamtons east side during a bus layover between Ithaca and Syracuse. I first went in Kingston when I lived across the river, but they left the Hudson Valley not long after I had. I may even have gone to Weis up I-88 and the Thruway visiting family back when they owned Albany Public Markets, but that closed when I was even younger. Weis took over pioneering local indie Giant (not the one in PA/Delmarva) after testing the waters across Twin Tiers in Elmira. Back in Broome County, I took a local cab to the Robinson St store since it was the closest to downtown. I could tell it was Giant in the past. Seems like my kind of place. Not bad for this part of town. Now if they could only come to Ithaca where a competitor used to be (they are in the Tiers at least). I know they'll never come my way as even Cortland has enough chains to go around. A couple smaller communities where a mom and pop closed (once part of another chain) could use Weis even more right now.Let's hope Weis don't ever sell out to a conglomerate, even though they had no qualms buying out other chains themselves. They hold their own.

Primary grocery store. Good selection; usually fresh produce and dairy. Store is clean, and prices generally competitive.

Staff are very helpful and personable. The store itself is kind of difficult to navigate. It seems very disorganized and product placement doesn’t make very much sense

Pleasant staff. Produce and other food choices could be of a higher quality.

It's a pretty standard grocery store. We do like the fact that it has more Asian and Mexican ingredients available then some of the other places. But not like "Asian store" quality.
