Weis Markets is a solid grocery store with a good selection of products at fair prices. It is a dependable place to shop for weekly essentials and family food without fancy items. The store offers good and abundant produce, and its named products are much more inexpensive than others. Pork and chicken remain inexpensive, while some items like beef, fruit, and coffee are more expensive. The store usually has entree meats on sale. Customer service is helpful and friendly, making the overall shopping experience pleasant. However, checkout can be frustrating. The store deals with money transactions, takes SNAP and debit/credit cards, but does not take the Senior Benefits Card. Many customers must use self-checkout, which can require frequent assistance and cause delays, especially with large orders. During busy times, only one or two registers may be open despite other employees being present, leading to long waits and irritation. Some locations, such as those on Upper Front Street and Robinson Street, completely satisfy customer expectations and needs.
Good quality items, decent pricing and peaceful atmosphere.

It's a decent grocery store. There is also a bakery, a deli, a meat counter, a seafood department and a pharmacy. I've never used the pharmacy, but all of the other places are very amiable and helpful.
