“They remodeled this store awhile ago and I hate the change. Hard to find things now. Theres random clearance sections on end caps and tucked away throughout the store and are a disaester. This store is often messy. Besides that I continue to shop here because I love the selection. Sometimes the staff is unhelpful. I found thr cashier more helpful for thr project I was doing. The staff likes to talk amoung themselves which is unprofessional but i guess thats the times now.”

“Great place for vintage pieces of furniture, hardware and any other hard to find items from the past. Doorknobs, hinges, frames, farm sinks, kit hen cabinets. Need doors? Pocket doors, french doors, exterior mahogany doors, they've got them. I was looking for an old door to use on my pantry and found it here. Ian McDonald and Kevin Hayes were wonderful. Both men couldn't be more helpful and knowledgeable in their field of architectural salvage. No matter which piece you asked about they knew it's history and where its origin. Take some time; we uncovered some obvious screaming deals! It has a feeling of fresh, continually shifting merchandise like Bed Bath Beyond and Pier 1 Imports used to have; so I really enjoyed that vibe! I feel like if you see it now, buy it now, tho?, because it likely won't be back. (?) Gabe's has brought back that retro, old-school way of shopping for quality unique merchandise at deal prices.
