“It's a gas station. Newer pumps have those little pump prop thingies so you don't have to hold the pump. Might sound like a first world problem, but when you've gotta fill your tank in the arctic tundra that is Orchard Park/Hamburg/where ever the hell this technically is, you'll be glad this little metal bit exists, so you can keep your hands in your pockets. Avoid frost bite, fill up here.”
“I would recommend the Nickel Plate as a destination to eat. The food is great. Nice portions. A very friendly atmosphere. Servers are always pleasant. There is also vendors that sell cool merchandise for that special occasion. Great place to hold a shower or birthday party. It's in a warehouse, so again the Nickle Plate atmosphere is airy . I would try it out.!!! 👍”

“I stopped here before work just in case I wouldn't have time to stop after work. Within a minute of entering the store, I was already greeted and asked by two employees if I needed help. One directed me to the area I needed, and another heled me find an alternative to a liquor that they didn't have in stock, of which I needed a certain size bottle. The employee at the register was very friendly and created great conversation. I used to stop somewhere else near my job, but this place is just as close. I'll definitely come here instead from now on.”
“When I first walked into the store I was immediately surprised with how many different selections they have/product and continued to look around. I am a Whiskey man and they have some of the best bourbons and allocations in the area. More importantly every time I go in or every new customers, the staff is always knowledgeable, polite, and don’t mind making there own recommendations for anyone also. I only go here now for all my wine and spirits, give them a try and you won’t regret it.”

We have been returning customers for years. It’s sad that the tariffs announced earlier this year, tariffs that changed in percentage and their start date, made it hard for many family owned businesses to order and have anything in stock especially when 80%(guesstimate) is foreign like with alcohol. They filed for bankruptcy on the 16th of July. We just want to say thank you for all the advice and service ♥️”
“Amazing, reliable spot for any style of beer! I love filling my growler with 1 of their 12 options, doing mix and match 6 packs, or trying a new craft beer. Staff is attentive and professional. I love how the store is laid out and they have snacks and mixers too.”
