“I'll start by saying this place has the best customer service I've ever received from any company before!Rick went out of his way to make everything as smooth as possible. Engine arrived with damage, from shipping company being rough with it. It was not Rick's fault at all, but he took full responsibility. Paid to have the damage fixed (which wasn't cheap) just to keep me happy! Didn't make me wait for a claim from the shipping company or anything, just took matters in to his own hands.On the phone and email, he takes interest in to your project and doesn't make you feel like he just wants your money. He doesn't make you feel rushed to make a decision and get off the phone.I called a few places while looking for my engine, and Rick gave me the best price and made me feel good about my purchase with him! “This was my first time coming here. I normally go to their competitors right up the road but I was referred to here by a friend. One thing I absolutely loved about this place is they have an online inventory so you don’t need to call in and it has the color of the vehicle and in some cases it says what kind of damage it has (front end etc). This really helps someone like me who lives 2 hours away in Albany who needs to make sure before I make the drive out there. They had what I needed and at a reasonable price. I also like that they had big 4 wheeled carts for you if you got a bunch of stuff. Staff was friendly. I guess my only complaint is that the cars sit directly on the ground. I know you can request they put them up on a rack but it makes taking off some simple things in the wheel well difficult when they are on the ground but that’s not too big of a deal. Other than that it’s a clean yard with a great selection of parts. Definitely adding this to my list of pull it places and it will be the first option if I need to go to a pull it yard from now on!”

“Detonated and melted the #8 piston in my 2012 Cadillac CTS-V with 30k miles 3 years ago. When the catastrophic failure happened, the car previously put 540whp on a dynojet with a 2.4 pulley, ID850 injectors and 19* of timing running 93 octane. Held it too long or had bad gas with knock sensors not working properly. A friend and I pulled the motor and brought it to kevin. He did his magic and rebuilt the LS motor from the crank up. He was patient and allowed me to order the parts (forged pistons, rods, head and main studs, cam, lifters, oil pump, timing chain, lower pulley/harmonic balancer, heads, valve springs, trunnions etc) he balanced the rotating assembly and put it all together ready to be dropped back in the car. Quick turn around time with excellent communication. The motor runs excellent and has not burned a drop of oil that I can measure 3 years and maybe 5000 miles later. Cold starts are quiet and the engine has plenty of oil pressure. I estimate it makes in the 650whp range now (but haven’t dynoed it again) and Kevin stated that the motor will reliably make much more. More than reasonable pricing especially considering how much labor was involved in my build. If you are in the same position as I was, don’t let just anyone touch your motor… Thank you Blockhead.”
