For a company whose primary business is patient care they do everything they can to make your experience as miserable as possible. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. The staff couldn't possibly care less about doing their jobs or showing up on time. After arriving at 8 am for bloodwork no one was in the office to check me in until 8:20 and the lab tech didn't show up until 8:45. BTW, the website (which also stinks) showed the lab opening at 8:00 am. After fasting and waiting for an hour for my bloodwork, I was told the orders weren't put in! The phone system stinks, the website is unusable, and the staff there clearly don't give a damn. While I love my internist it's clear the practice, managed by some Wall St. corporate entity no doubt, is not interested in providing patients with a good experience. Time to find another practice that cares... or is that like finding a unicorn these days?

The dr’s are great, but similar to others, I stay on hold for over 30 minutes if I need to speak with the office. The online portal is unreliable and sometimes won’t let me book an appointment online, hence having to call. Very frustrating.

Caremount patient since I was born. It was bad before becoming Optum but now I am totally done. The wait time to get a human being on the phone is never less than 30 mins. The front desk staff?? Miserable, rude and unaccommodating. Shame because they have great doctors. Moving on.

For a place like this they need friendly, patient and caring staff. Over the phone, they’re rude, careless, clueless and always trying to rushing to get you off the phone. Always referring to take my kids to urgent care instead of accommodating seeing their doctor.

I love our pediatrician (Dr. Krohn) and would give 5 stars if it was just about him. But the office management has gone downhill in the last year. They rarely answer the phone and are sometimes rude when requesting an appt. You can be on hold for a half hour before speaking to a live person. Sometimes I can't even get through and give up.

Trying to renew a medication is now a nightmare. The patient portal doesn't work and I have been on hold 45 minutes and haven't been able to leave a message or get through to anyone. The new system does NOT work!

The lab website says it's open at 8:00 am. I am here now, 8:20am. No one is here. I have to go to work.

The doctor I saw was great however, I was sent for blood work and the phlebotomist was awful. She was distracted by her cell phone going off constantly. When attempting to draw blood she stuck me incorrectly and no blood came out. She proceeded to wiggle the needle in my arm and had the nerve to tell me that I don’t drink enough water. I told her that I drink tons of water, pointed to my water bottle in my purse, and told her I’ve never had a problem with blood drawing before. She then stuck me again and finally drew blood. All this happened while her cell phone was constantly going off. She told me that she she felt like slapping the person who was texting her. I couldn’t wait for the encounter to be over. My arm was severely bruised for 3 weeks after this. Terrible. She should be fired for having her cell phone out. Very unprofessional in any setting but even more so in the medical field. I reported this experience in a Caremount survey and named the specific employee in that. I hope something is done about her.

Waited 9 months for an appointment. Showed up and they informed the doctor retired. I did not receive a call, text or email. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and frankly rude about it, since I was explaining how I received conformation texts and registering paperwork. So happy to leave this practice and caremount and switching to Northwell.

Every pediatrician visit results in an inaccurate bill, think hundreds of dollars for a simple check-up. Avoid Dr. Georgina Lester and anyone having anything to do with Caremount Medical, unless you like spending hours on the phone contesting billing errors.

Terribly rude, front desk has the most attitude I've ever seen of any doctor's office. I called ahead and was told if I have a referral for lab work I can walk in. In the office they tell me I have to fax them a copy or else I needed to leave the office. Go to ANY other caremount location unless you want to be spoken down to and told to leave.

Rating -1 Deceptive billing practices... they rack up your bill on testing and then surprise you with the bill four months down the line... I've gone there a few times starting in 2014, they will send you for a battery of testing and specialists to rack up the money... I haven't received any real help yet... I have the same issues/problems... they just want to do more testing... I'm tired of getting billed for nothing... so if you like testing and not healing this is the place... are there any doctors that actually know how to do they're these days? I'm looking...

I've been a client for 8+ years and I couldn't be happier with my experiences there. I've always felt listened to and scheduling appointments is easy. My interactions at the front desk have been nothing short of delightful and I leave satisfied that any questions I had were answered. I recommend this office to anyone who is looking for great customer service and high quality care.

We love our kids' pediatrician for regular visits as well as all of the doctors and staff for walk-in visits when they're not feeling well.
