“In recent years Wegmans has changed a lot. They have taken more brand names off their shelves and replace them with Wegmans brands that are made in Canada. With the Canadian tariffs that we are going to start seeing I doubt the prices will be able to reflect a deep discount as they do now. Honestly, their brand products are not that good. Olives were blan, some cheeses are okay, canned products are lacking a lot of flavor. When it comes to cashing out, Wegmans has replaced a lot of cashiers with self checkout. There's only 2 or 3 cashiers at most at any given time. So hopefully you only need to get 20 items or less! Lol! The 20 items or less would take you to a self checkout. Please note, there are cameras that every single one and seven or eight cameras when you first walk in the door. There's also two or three security guards at the door/walking the floor at any given time. While the East avenue store and pittsford stores remain beautiful the stores on Mount Read and in the Long pond area are not as good as they used to be. I miss Bob, Danny and his family are not doing anything the way Bob did. I will be shopping a lot more at public markets, Amish markets and direct from the farmer if possible. Times are definitely changing.”

“Park Ridge Apothecary is definitely the best pharmacy as far as I'm concerned. I've been using this pharmacy for years and the pharmacists and technicians here are fantastic! Knowledgeable, caring and will go out of their way to help resolve any issues that may arise with your prescriptions, insurance companies or doctors. Never a long wait.... “I recently needed to get two prescriptions while on a trip to Rochester. I had them filled at the Wegman's pharmacy in Perinton.
One prescription is a challenge in Connecticut where there is some issue filling it 30% of the time. The second was a new prescription prescribed the same day by a doctor in Perinton.
Both prescriptions were filled quickly and easily with no issues at Wegmans.
The chain pharmacies in Connecticut have struggled post COVID to retain staff. They tend to understaff the pharmacists with one working at a time. In contrast, the pharmacy experience at Wegmans was amazing.
I had a wait in line of about 2 minutes for one prescription and zero minutes for the second. At my local Connecticut pharmacy, a 30 minute line is typical and then I may need to wait another 10 minutes for a fill.
There were multiple pharmacists working and I could get an immediate consultation at a relaxed pace instead of waiting 10 minutes for a rushed consultation.
Wegmans provided prescription fill updates via text message, so I knew the status of the fill at all times.
I wish I had a Wegmans grocery store and pharmacy in my town in Connecticut. Wegmans just recently added a store in Norwalk, so there is hope!”

“Wegmans is a premier grocery store. Their stores are clean, well-organized, and customer-focused. Their name is associated with quality goods and services. Present manufacturing shortages aside, they are also usually well-stocked. Their products include typical store brands, as well as their own store brand, and even local produce. Wegmans brand products are generally very good, and they are known for their prepared foods. Their stores offer a substantial natural food section along side such services as a pharmacy, pizza/sub shop, fresh sushi, bakery, floral shop, and some even offer catering. They also have online ordering with home delivery and curbside pickup. There's also a pretty user-friendly app where you can find specials and digitized coupons. Shopping at Wegmans in Rochester, where the store was founded has really spoiled me and makes grocery shopping elsewhere fairly difficult, even with some staples slightly higher priced than other grocery stores like Aldi and WalMart. However, their store brand prices are very competitive. If you get the chance to shop at Wegmans, don't pass it up. It is a worthwhile experience that has garnered interest from international grocery stores. But, it might just make shopping elsewhere a tad less enjoyable.”

“It's a pharmacy but it is an awesome pharmacy. Not in any ostentatious way but the work they do if kind and positive. Their locale being alongside Highland Family Medicine makes it the obvious partnership. You do not have to go far to get those meds when you are already feeling down in the dumps. Plus, the association of Strong Medicine and the U of R is the best practices one could hope for in medical care and well being. Highly appreciate the workers who take my call asking if a script is ready so I do not waste my time. Friendly, efficient, clean, safe, and many other positive attributes. A 5th star is always tough to give out because their is always room to grow. To me 4 stars says yes, this is a great pharmacy to use and you will be happy you did!Peace! ✌️”

They were out of the medication dosage he needed (so were all of the surrounding locations that accept our insurance) and she spent so much extra time calling the provider multiple times for a new (needed) order, answering calls/waiting, checking the system for the new order, checking on us while we were waiting and seeing how sick he was feeling.. All while helping others, too. Amazing service!”

“I was happy to find the CVS in Brighton open today but it is a 24 hour store. I needed some things and I got what I was out of but I wanted to stock up on water too but they were out of the brand I wanted to buy. I haven’t shopped at CVS in a long time because I use the closest pharmacy and CVS is not my closest pharmacy. I needed to update my email and was able to catch the notification for it this time. The young lady at the counter helped me, she entered my new email in the system.”
